Instructions: Peel suction cup plastic and press the Multi-Surface Mount against the desired smooth surface. While pressing against the surface, rotate the top of the mount clockwise three full rotations, then release. Place your phone on the mount. Rotate your phone for landscape or portrait mode. To remove, rotate the top of the mount counterclockwise three full rotations. Pull the tab slowly to peel the mount off the mounting surface. Cleaning instructions: rinse the bottom of the suction cup with warm water to return its stickiness. Air dry for 1-2 hours after cleaning. Cover the suction cup with the included plastic or mount to keep the adhesive clean and sticky when not in use.

I was hesitant bc of the sporadic bad reviews sprinkled in here. There is a very specific step when mounting I suspect folks are missing that involves having to twist the base. Just read the instructions. You can’t just stick it to the wall. Mine works amazing and I absolutely love it. It’s really sturdy and hasn’t budged since placing it weeks ago. I have it in the shower on a wall opposite the shower head. My walls are textured porcelain tile. I personally recommend! It is maybe a bit pricey tho.

Easy to install and works well for my situation.I needed a solution to mount my Kindle or tablet in front of me while on the treadmill and couldn't find anything that didn't have my neck craned at weird/bad angles while on the treadmill.This PopSockets mount works super well on my treadmill screen/face. It is still *slightly* low for my liking but doesn't move and allows me to use my Kindle or tablet where I want them.It seems like this item may not work on a textured surface like a wall that isn't completely flat. I haven't tried it on my walls because of this potential issue.

I love PopSockets products and was super excited for this mount because it was exactly what we needed to see a countdown timer every morning. But for $19.99 on sale (and certainly not for $29.99), this is the worst product I've ever purchased from PopSockets.* Either the suction is terrible or the weight of PopSockets iPhone 14 Pro Max super slim case plus the phone is too heavy for the product. Literally, the normal weight of an iPhone - no accessories, etc.* We followed the mounting instructions exactly as outlined, and the cleaning/remounting instructions each time it fell off (even the 2 hour "drying" period).* The design to "turn to lock in place" is really poor. If you turn it too far, it pops back to the loose setting. If you use a gentle touch, you can feel when it tightens to a "stopping point", but this has hardly any lasting strength to it.* It's almost as if the weight distribution pulls too much on the top of the mount. Once the top loses grip, the whole thing goes.* Phone orientation doesn't make a difference either - both vertical and horizontal cause the problem.* No matter what wall surface we tried, the whole mount falls completely off. * Normal semi-gloss paint * Specialty smooth surface paint * Bathroom fiberglass * Kitchen ceramic tile * Bathroom ceramic tile * Bathroom mirror * Exterior door with glass * Car window * Putting the bottom of the mount on a 1" shelf bolted into the wall and suctioned to an acrylic surface

I liked the functionality and ease of use, it is durable, a pretty color (pink) and it sticks to just about any smooth surface. I have confidence that it will hold my device/iPhone 14 Max Plus. It is easy to remove if you follow the instructions. I almost took a piece of my wall out because I didn’t LOL once I pulled on the tag it came right off.

So I ordered this based on needs but also was skeptical because I've had things that didn't suction or stick correctly. So I bought this and suctioned it to my computer screen In my semi. I was very impressed that it held my phone with all the bouncing of the semi and could easily be moved to truck to truck. It's not to big and was so easy to use.. I'd recommend

I got this to stick to my nightstand so I could use the Standby feature on the iPhone. It fell off within minutes. Not sure if it was a surface issue or the mounts suction cup issue. I cleaned the nightstand with an alcohol wipe before mounting.I wish they made this in more than one style mount. I want a windshield mount that has this magnetic ring but better mounting suction cup.I’ll just have to see if it works on another type of surface and update the review if I find it works in other places. It’s just so close to what I wanted though. Not happy with the way it mounts to the wall.Update: It works just fine on the shower wall after I took the sticky layer off the suction cup. Turns out nothing will stick to my nightstand, even command strips. lol. Still, I wish they offered this style in a windshield mount for the car. The magnet is strong and works great.

Update 9 months later: rating drop from 5 to 2I want to absolutely love this mount. I've purchased 2. The functionality is great, when the suction works. Two things:1. In any kind of heat, you lose suction. I am using this in a 2019 GLI. Extremely smooth surface next to my cars display. No reason this should come loose. It stays for a few days or sometimes weeks, then I'll find it on the floor when I get into my car OR WORSE it'll fall when driving. I actually cracked my screen once due to this!!2. The suction cup malfunctions. Air gets in there and once it detaches, they really don't stick to anything very well.This is the SECOND ONE I've purchased in less than two years. On avg they've lasted me 6 to 8 months each.These are priced on the higher end considering they have no charging functionality. I shouldn't have to find my own solution for making it stick.If you don't mind it lasting less than a year, this may work great for you. I love the idea and when it works I give it 5 stars all day long.Fix the suction cup. Make it stronger. Then you have my buy in for life. Just like the pop socket. I've been buying them since they came out.

And you don’t need a pop socket to use it, but the popsocket fits snug inside the dippy bit. The strange washable sticky rubber sticks to most (clean) surfaces I’ve tried, including matte bathroom tile which is handy for the tub. Even after condensation!It’s a twisty system that creates a suction seal, and that is so ridiculously strong it can hold my weight (don’t do that) and then to get off you reverse twist.The instruction say put the pulley flap downward when affixing, but we found having it upward aids removal much easier.This silly little gadget has been endlessly useful. Porn on the wall, for instance. Or baking recipes on kitchen units.
