Update 3/10: since I last wrote the review the pop grip definitely stopped working. The sides stretched out to much eventually it no longer gripped into the case itself. I tried snapping the pop grip to see if it would latch or snap on to the case better but essentially the bands weren’t stretchy enough and the round part of the grip snapped broken. Would it fit for a while? Yes if you don’t move it but that defeats the whole purpose of the pop grip. I will however look for another pop grip for the specific phone type ( iPhone 12 max pro) or something similar since I do need it for navigation and what not.I loved that this pop grip is universal to the iPhone generation. I was a bit hesitant on buying it because I wasn’t sure if it would fit the new iPhone 12 Pro Max but it did. It’s pretty sturdy so it doesn’t come off easily. I have an otter box case on it and still managed to use the pop grip with no issues. The only thing is, that I can’t slide it up and down as easily, but I don’t mind that since I like my pop grip in one spot.

I have an iPhone 12 Mini inside of an OtterBox Pursuit Series Screenless Edition Case. This snaps onto it perfectly. I wanted something that would hold well, be compatible with pop socket accessories, but be removable for MagSafe charging accessories. I didn’t like magnetic pop sockets, they just fell off constantly. This thing is perfect. Grips like a gorilla, doesn’t come off unless I pull it off. This is actually my second one. The first one lasted about 2 years and only broke because of an unfortunate accident on my part. Totally worth the money!

The product is great and arrived in under 24 hours; however, I specifically searched Amazon for Pop Sockets for Pixel 8a phone in an attempt to have both the Pop Socket and the option the charge wirelessly if I decided to do so. Unfortunately, this product doesn't work well as a kickstand for the Pixel 8a phone because the placement of the power and volume buttons on the phone requires the Grip Slide to be placed too far off center for the phone to be positioned in a balanced way. The phone, at best, is crooked and, at worst, falls over easily. I gave it to a coworker who has an iPhone as it works perfectly for her.

The Samsung galaxy s21 ultra is a really big phone. This pop socket has been working great with a standard sized case. I don't think it would work with a really thick case like some of the otterboxes. It doesn't quite wrap around to the top of the side of the case; there is a small little lip where it looks like it should just barely curve to touch the front edge of the case but in this phone it doesn't quite reach, so that tiny lip actually makes it so the pop socket edge doesn't quite lay flat. So it's not perfect, but definitely functional and it's really such a minor thing (more cosmetic than functional) that you don't notice unless you're looking closely. I bought the clear one so it's even less noticeable. This issue of a not-quite-perfect fit would also vary with the case you're using. I think any slim or standard cases should be fine though. Please note that because of button placement on this particular phone, the socket has to sit just a little bit below the middle of the phone. You can't put it up higher without pressing buttons. This works for me because of where it is comfortable for my hand, and still stays just fine in my pop socket car mount. It does mean that if the phone is laying on a flat surface with the pop socket fully extended, the phone is topheavy and will tilt the top down instead of the bottom, which means it doesn't work well if trying to prop up your phone up in portrait view to see the screen. It works great to prop up in landscape though. This was a lot of detail to say yes, it even works on a giant phone like the Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra. I love it.

I like that I can remove this pop socket so I can charge my phone. But it has to attach too low on my iPhone 15 so it doesn’t cover the buttons, that position is not balanced. It’s not in a comfortable position for me.But it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. And it’s easy to remove and put on the phone case.

This version isn’t as good as their first version, so I can’t give it 5 stars. The curved design doesn’t fit my phone the same way the old square design used to fit, so it’s always popping off easily even when I’m just holding it in my hand like normal. I’m not gonna return it, but I probably won’t buy another one if this one breaks like the old one did.

I got this because my other poo socket prevented me from wirelessly charge my device. Not only I can slide it up and down so I can either prop my phone up or on the side for FaceTime but I can also put it on my other devices. The color is just beautiful! I don’t know why I waited this long before ordering.This made my life easier! thank you pop socket!
