Most of the pieces are very good thickness, other than the two blades that fit together. Those are thin enough to fit into the head unit on the split head but it makes it a bit too flexible.

Other attachments I tried with my drain snake couldn't get through a tough clog of grease and kitchen debris. This one powered right through without any trouble.

This works great with the Harbor Freight Hydrostar drain auger. An M7 screw also works as great replacement if the original screw is misplaced. Would highly recommend this product.

I needed a larger blade to snake the main sewer line. Rented machines (from the Home Depot) usually come with only small blades that are completely inadequate for 4 inch pipes. So I bought this set hoping it will be better than the set I previously bought in the Home Depot.At the beginning of the first round of snaking, before entering the sewer line, by my mistake, the blade got stuck between the green PVC pipe and a plastic housing that surrounds it.Blade got bent and totally deformed like it was made of soda can material.The strength of the blade is totally inadequate in comparison with the strength of the snake and I used half inch snake, not even 5/8.I have been snaking sewer lines at my rental properties for more than 15 years now and used a lot of snakes and blades.This particular blade is probably the second worst blade by strength that I ever encountered.

I got these to try to clear out some exterior drains, like 2 or 3" inner diameter black PVC that goes from a house sump to outside. These can theoretically help with that, but they are admittedly smaller and weaker than what I needed. I don't fault the product for that, since the advertised sizing and material are pretty true to real life. But I would just say be aware that these are more designed for a 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" sink drain than for bigger pipes. The metal is not particularly thick or durable but should be able to handle basic household issues.Overall there is a good assortment of shapes and functions, and the clip ring is a nice bonus
