These are easy to clean and set up. They are quality built, function as expected, and make a wonderful, habitat for raising caterpillars in a safe environment away from predators. Kids can watch as the caterpillars grow, create a chrysalis, and their metamorphosis as they eclose as a butterfly.

I love this 2-pack of GDANES pop-up butterfly enclosures. The size is PERFECT! the easy zipper access is great for changing out plants that have been devoured overnight, by hungry caterpillars.I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS BRAND!i am a repeat customer.

I do bat rehab, and needed a larger bat hut to house a some bats to keep them over the winter. I’m sure this isn’t the intended use, but it’s a really great, airy hut that allows them to hang on real nice. I could even pin on their favorite fluffy blankets to hide in. This comfortably held a pallid bat and a rambunctious Mexican free-tailed bat for a winter before they were successfully released back to the wild. So 10/10. Princess and Monchi approved.

I bought this when I was preparing and setting up for new jumping spider babies to come. This mesh butterfly enclosure helps me keep them from escaping plus I use it for them to get exercise. I let them climb allllll around it for sn hour or two. Will be looking into buying a couple more eventually. Worth it so far

Unbeknownst to me I purchased milkweed, not realizing that that’s what monarch butterflies lay their eggs on! Soon I had baby caterpillars, crawling around, and I needed some thing urgently to contain them and protect them from the many lizards and pests in my yard. I’ve quickly grown attached to this hobby. This enclosure helps contain them, and I really like that it’s a fine mesh. I do have to weigh it down so it doesn’t fly away, and also use the clear plastic side to check your zipper before unzipping! Caterpillars zoooom everywhere looking for food. This material is also super easy to clean, I usually spray a very diluted bleach mixture to clean up because caterpillars poop a lot!With that being said, I also had to learn the hard way about what is actually ailing monarch butterflies in the United States. Most monarch butterflies have a disease called OE. if you live in Florida, I recommend looking into this disease and looking up the bad side of tropical milkweed. Knowing what I know now, I will only use native milkweed.

This butterfly cage is so big, but it folds down to fit in a small space. Helped hatch the butterflies I had. Was sturdy enough to safety pin the chrysalises to the top.
