My original hose, and the dehumidifier it's attached to are 5 years old now. Even though I keep the filter clean, it's really just more like a screen than a filter, and the smaller particles get in and get washed into the hose and settle on the flat part where the hose rests on my counter. I try to clean it, but a brush won't reach. The only way I can get it somewhat clean is to soak with vinegar and then rinse with pressurized water, but it only can do so much without direct contact. It was just time to get a new hose!This hose is better than the one that came with the machine. The plastic is thicker and also it has the hose clamp which is nice. A great product, as advertised!Since mine is the only review, I have enclosed a picture of the hose.

It works for the GE Profile Air Conditioner. It drains the water well enough to not have to empty it out everyday which was a pain. The performance on the air conditioner has gotten better after using it. But we haven't tested it on other units yet. Overall its a good buy especially to keep your air conditioner running better.

I like the rubber connector and the clamp to keep this firmly in place on the connector for my dehumidifier. It fits perfectly.The hose part; however, feels & looks very cheap & fragile. It's not very flexible and feels like it will crush easily.It works, but it shouldn't cost this much for the quality.

This drain hose is much longer than the one that comes with the portable AC, giving many more options for placement. It is 16.5 feet long, much better than the 5' tube that came with the unit. A great buy.

This is soft and flexible. Works perfectly for my needs. It’s not a heavy duty hose if that’s what you looking for.
