The best manual can opener by far. I have been so tired of buying “expensive†can openers just to have to throw them out every year because they don’t work anymore. I tried one out one day and fell in love. It was also older and still felt brand new. I love my can opener.

My old can opener was really terrible. I mean that it would leave a couple of spots on the lid that wouldn't cut through. I looked on Amazon and this one was highly recommended. It is wonderful!! So glad I purchased. It cuts right around the lid very easily and completely. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. I purchased a second one for my daughter. Very pleased.

Only can opener worth buying.It is inexpensive and is much better than any other can opener I have owned and their have been lots.

This very durable and sturdy can opener was just what we needed. I used to have to buy a new can opener every time we used it 2 or 3 times. Most are absolute junk! This one does the trick, opens smoothly and easily and keeps on going. I even have an electric can opener that didn't work more than 7 or 8 times. This one is the one!

This brand of can opener is my favorite because they are superior to other brands. Just put it on the can and turn the handle. No being careful to not queeze the handle too much or too little, like another brand that I bought about four months ago - and it was a major brand,too. Swing-Away is the best!

I have been on the hunt for a good can opener for years now after my Xyliss safety opener finally bit the dust. This is not a safety opener, but it's the best I've found so far (I had 6 (!!!) different can openers just a few months ago & tossed the others after finding this one!)It bites through the can easily & inches around the top without having to squeeze hard on the handles or go to the gym to lift weights in order to be able to turn the handle. It feels sturdy & well-made, and even with the numbness I have in both hands, I can now open cans with relative ease. The non-slip handles help a lot here, too. I wish I'd found & tried this can opener a LOT sooner!Btw, the other style of Swing-Away can opener with the longer crank handle is better for tall/XL cans, but it's harder to use with regular cans. This version works with both, though the longer handle on the other definitely makes it better for 28+++ oz. Cans.

Long time customer of this long time brand! This is the best manual can opener you can buy. Easy to use, and lasts for years. I only purchase a new one after it gets old and rusty. I've tried other brands and types and they're garbage.

My old can opener died and I went through two grocery store bought replacements in three weeks that simply did not work at all even though they were all metal parts, etc. Finally happened upon one of these while staying in a vacation rental and it was so good I had to order one for my house. It's amazing and I'm going to buy a few more for when it finally wears out!!

Maybe my old can opener was super-decrepit and blunt or something (it was certainly struggling), but in comparison this can opener was so sharp and easy to use I grinned from ear to ear on first use. Several cans later and it's still like a hot knife through butter - I love it!

Excellent product! This lasts for a long time as long as you wash it after each use and to prevent it from rusting make sure to let it completely dry out before placing it in the cabinet. We have one of this which we bought nearly 40 years ago and it is still working well just like a brand new one👌ðŸ½
