it's solid. It has a speaker and connects to a bluetooth speaker. it doesn't ruin my tapes. i really love this.

I like it! It works off of double AAs and external records well. Not sturdy but so far so good.

Would not play a tape that I know has recently played. Used both AA alkaline batteries and Type C plug. Our light came on when I turned the unit on and it “ran†the tape but no volume or sound at all. Used the volume control without success. FF and Rev worked.

Very pleased w/the Fiolees, except with it's nagging tendency to snag/eat tape, especially in the first 10 hours of play. One tape it severed clean at auto-stop, one other I broke pulling too hard off capstan/roller. I've counted 11 incidents in about 1 month, with 9 snags resulting in no permanent damage. Otherwise, player sounds great, BT reliable. AC play with adapter a nice plus. Enjoy!

The SM-216 portable cassette recorder/player is just what I needed to play back some archival interviews that were recorded about 30 years ago. This SM-216 interfaces beautifully via Bluetooth with my Sony receiver. Simple easy to use design and the quality is more then sufficient even with the small integrated speakers. Am so glad to have found this device on Amazon where the price is right! Thank you.

The portable cassette player/recorder performs exactly as described without any issues. It is well constructed and I like that it is simple to use with push-buttons. It can be powered via a USB or 2 AA batteries. The battery compartment is easy to access and open. Cassette tapes easily slide into the player. We have the Bible on cassette tapes; now we can listen to God's Word while working in the house or outside in the yard. The Bluetooth feature is nice because it allows us to play the tapes through our JBL Bluetooth speakers. If you are looking for a nice portable cassette player/recorder, you should consider purchasing this unit.
