This portable espresso machine is life-changing! It is so convenient to use, and I love that I can bring it with me anywhere. As someone who drinks a ton of coffee, this little gadget has allowed me to conveniently have fresh espresso in minutes.I actually prefer this machine over my regular coffee maker, and I have saved myself a lot of money by not having to go to coffee shops to order espresso drinks. Instead, I just make my own drinks by adding espresso shots into milk. It's also super versatile cause you can grind your own coffee beans and use ground coffee, or if you are feeling lazy, use coffee capsules for convenience. I sometimes keep coffee pods in my car and then just throw it in the espresso maker for a quick little energy boost.When I'm done with my coffee, cleaning the machine is also super easy because of how small it is. If I use coffee ground, I just dump that out and rinse out the container and cup, and if I used pods, I just rinse out the cup.Overall, I am super pleased with this product and would recommend to anyone that is looking for something that is portable and makes good coffee.

The Portable Electric Espresso Machine is a combination of espresso and water heater function in 1 for maximum portability while on the go. You can heat like 3 oz of water in 4-5 minutes to then pour through either ground espresso or your choice of pod sizes into an attached cup, where you get slightly less than 3oz. It charges off of a USB-DC cable with option for car charger too.This is for someone with both a strong affinity for straight espresso with few to no frills and a desire for access to portability at all times, even with our access to coffee at probably an all time high. It is simple to use, a little heavy (shy of 5 lbs), totally electronic and relatively easy to clean (esp. if you use the pods). The instructions aren't perfect but the intuition is fairly easy to understand. The process is not a lot of steps: 1. Charge it & remember it won't work while in red charging mode 2. Load up coffee of choice 3. Add either cold or hot water (that determines how many times you press the button) and let it do its thing 4. Once button goes from orange to green, press to dispense finished coffee and press again to stop. All done.Pros:- Portable- Options with coffee (ground, vesicle or macrocapsule, though I've not seen one of them)- Contained (pretty much all in one unit, minus charging cords)Cons:- No carry case. While this absolutely fits in the cup holder of car or side pocket of backpack, would have liked a sleeve or case to help keep cords with it- Very little end result - not even a shot of espresso in the end, just a sip and a half. If you want a cup of coffee, you will need to either wait a while to brew a very strong cup or have another method to heat water just for the water portion of your americano- Maybe useful for a day hiking trip but can't see appeal for longer trip, even for die hard coffee fiends, as the nearly 5 lb weight is a luxury with backpacking and you will still need something else to heat water for meals.I think, in the end, I do not like espresso enough by itself to want to wait around for the, albeit brief, 5 minutes it takes to give me a very small sip. The concept is sound, there are very pretty and sleek other models on the market to choose from, I could wish for a carry case for this, but ultimately, I'm just probably not the target market because I can get more coffee faster easier. This seems like a fair bit of ingenuity and effort for small payout.

Tried it with nespresso capsule and self ground coffe. The capsule came out tasting surprisingly good but it's a bit finicky and tedious when grinding your own coffe. With that being said, once you nail the grind size and amount, it produces a decent espresso. Especially considering that you can have a delicious coffee drink on top of the mountain. It's worth fiddling around to get the right setup. Machine is definitely capable of heating up the water but it is certainly better and faster if you add boiling water.

This espresso maker was the perfect thing for me to be able to make my espresso on the go and was extremely extremely easy to use! The coffee came out perfectly and I am Soo happy to I made this investment. I was always looking for something that I can bring in my car and this was perfect for me. Highly recommended for anyone who has a busy schedule and likes espresso
