I have had this external hard drive for about half a year now, using it mainly for gaming on my PC. I have a gaming laptop which doesn't have much storage by itself. So this seemed like an easy and cheap solution.I have downloaded several games to this device, and have had no issues whatsoever, once I figured out how to actually select device to download to, that is. I expected issues with the cable, such as moving it a certain angle while plugged in, and having it disconnect and exit my game. I've had no issues of the sort. seems like good quality, and actually appears the have the storage it claims.I expect to download many more games to it, or even photos and videos, which I am sure will be no problem at all. Good quality. Worth the price.

The drive works great so far. Easy to set parameters for photos and uploads fast. What took hours to upload to Google Cloud, only takes minutes.I'm ordering another for a second project.

Although I'm mad, I can only blame myself for believing a $20-40 hard drive made from recycled Ramun bottles. I guess I have no right to complain, I know what it was and still that poor little guy's heart didn't give out for a long time before I started having problems. It all started when I began noticing ole Yotuo powering down, but hey, it always went right back on! I don't have any problems, right? Get real. Right then and there, it should have been apparent to me that I shouldn't wait, rather I should have backed it all up right then and there. Time after time, again and again, the problem presented itself...but each time with a noticeably shorter interval between incidents. Did I listen to my gut? No, instead, the only thing I backed up was my butt. No, literally, I would get my butt back up to get more beer and sit down, without a second thought, abusing that poor little hard drive with more weight. Eventually, before I knew it, it was gone. All that time I spent saving and saving and never defragging her. Sometimes being a giver and not enough of a taker isn't a good thing. Depression set in and the only thing that I could think of to do that would make me feel better was to remember the good times we had. Fortunately, I only had it a day, so at least that part wasn't hard. Silver lining right?

Okay so I ordered 2 of these items and straight out if the box I hooked em up to my low end (2013) pc and my equally low end xbox one console. To test em out I downloaded Batman Arkham Origins ( from Gog.com) straight to the yotuo on my pc and it took a bit to allocate disk space but once it got going it ran fine- until near the end when the connection dropped. I figured, maybe it was my internet so I rebooted and it picked up where it left off. Within minutes I was gaming away on Batman Arkham origins and its been running perfectly (knock on wood) so I installed Hitman Absolution (Gog.com) and this time I had no drops and it also is running perfectly.Now... I decided to install Hitman 2 on my Xbox one with all the DLC. On the last bit of DLC it dropped. So I figured, hard reset time and again it picked right up and everything went smooth. As of this writing I am downloading Alien: Dark Descent on my Xbox one and everything seems good. So there you have it. There seems to be some birthing pains out of the box but it does what it says it does.One thing I noted: these guys get HOT. I rigged two small fans next to them to keep them cool and this seems to work. Now we'll just see how long they last but for now- easy 4 stars. I'll update if anything else happens in the near future.

I brought this product to use for my PS5. I connected and formatted the hard drive according to the instructions and was instantly able to copy over my PS4 games no problem! (Remember that the PS5 is not built to run PS5 games from an external hard drive, so keep that in mind when deciding to get one or not.)

Bought this after my pc wouldn't turn on. Thought I'd lost everything on my hard drive so the pc repair got off what I needed, and I was able to transfer my files to this hard drive. There's a ton of space on it, so I'm good to go! Would buy again!
