This device worked well. I have several IR cameras around my house and I walked up to them with the detector and it immediately alerted me when I would get close to one. It’s small and easy to carry if you are somewhere you think there may be a camera you can’t see. I’d say this is worth it.

We’re a private investigation agency involved in TSCM use and sales. Just finished our testing of this great little spy detector. It’s convenient, discrete, and easy to use. Use it to find wifi, (2.4G & 5G) Bluetooth (2.4G) and other less common transmitter devices in the 1G - 6G range. GPS also, using the bar type digital signal strength indicator. When a signal is detected the LED bar code will increase as you get closer to the RF source. Cameras can be easily found, whether powered on or off, using the IR Detector. Just scan each wall and ceiling slowly. When the IR light reflects off the image sensor, you’ve found your target. It’s a practical, discrete, and easy to use tool for checking out short term rental properties, hotels, and other areas where you need privacy.
