I bought this speaker because I needed a small, wired one to install into a costume I’m making to amplify my voice. Considering that I had to make my voice sound tinny and “futzed” like an old radio, I didn’t mind if the sound quality wasn’t the best. However, this speaker failed to meet even that standard.Bad sound quality would have been acceptable. An endless, ear-piercing screeching whenever I connected the speaker to anything while being powered on is not. I never once got it to sound even passable. This was a total waste of my money and I should have read the warnings Amazon gave about this being a frequently returned item. I will be returning mine. Avoid!

I’m using this really small speaker for audio out of ham radio Morse code from a transceiver. It has more than enough volumn. As I recall, it was bargain priced.

I was very disappointed with this product. The sound quality and volume were extremely poor. My phone alone has better quality and volume. I can not recommend this product.
