My 10 year old loves this. She carries her 2 guinea pigs around for short walks outside. Soft fur pad that’s removable/washable on bottom. Works great for us.

Comfortable backpack with a big clear window. It's a good size for small/medium animal - bearded dragon, guinea pig, maybe a well-behaved bird... (we put our two conures in it to go out on walks). People have asked me if it would work for kittens.... maybe a bigger one, definitely don't try to put a puppy or kitten into this particular carrier, it really is too small.

I bought this to take with me to a reptile convention prepared to make it a temporary home for my newly acquired scaly friend. Comfortable inside with plenty ventilation and overall familiar backpack design makes this an easy choice for not only running errand with your pal, but showing them off in a safe way. The fluffy floor portion is removable allowing you to put whatever kind of mat you want for reptilian pets. It does have 3 small holes for ventilation in the see through portion which means snakes could likely get out as well as small rodents, so keep that in mind. Overall i really like it and think if they could add metal mesh instead of the holes it would be more versatile.

I like this pet backpack and wish it had worked, but it smells very toxic like chemicals. This is the most major issue. It is also too shallow and flat, but I could have still used this if not for the toxic smell of this.Otherwise it seemed nice and convenient for transporting a small animal.

This book bag is perfect! The size is great; it is big enough for just about any small animal pet but small enough to carry it easily. The front is a huge, clear bubble so you and everyone can see your pet. The breathing holes on the front and around the top are big enough for breathing but small enough to keep larger pets in. Double-check if your pet is a hamster or rat because they may be able to squeeze themselves through.The straps are a nice length; you can wear the bag comfortably while keeping it close to you so your pet feels safe. A hard bottom comes out to clean, and a soft furry bed is placed on top of the hard bottom. It also comes out so you can wash it.One side has a mesh pocket to hold small necessities; the other is a zip-open mesh area for your pet to enter and exit the book bag. I highly recommend this book bag, and it is perfect for small pets!

I use this bag to transport my guinea pigs to and from their large play pen, and it also comes in handy during cage cleaning. It's easy to clean, and the piggy's don't mind being in it. I never wear it on my back, and I just carry them gently with the window facing forward so they don't get scared. I highly recommend for transporting any small animals.

I got this backpack carrier for our cockatiel. We travel a lot in an RV and need some type of transportation for her in case of emergencies. The size of the carrier is perfect for a cockatiel or smaller pets in general. I don't think a bigger parrot would have enough space to be comfortable.There are many holes which will be good for ventilation. I would assume that it gets too hot in there quickly when in direct sunlight but that should be avoided anyway. The front of the backpack is open so that your pet can still see you. That should prevent some anxiety.There is padding at the bottom of the carrier which would be great for other pets but not our bird. I would remove it and add some kind of liners to catch the little droppings.Overall, this is a nice little per carrier backpack.
