I am very impressed with the laptop cart/table for the price. I was expecting a lot less (possibly poor quality, missing/broken parts, as with most of the pre-made cheap-o furniture) but to my surprise it looks great and is solid! It only took about 10 minutes to put together by myself. The aluminum base gives a nice touch. Compared to the other laptop carts that I have purchased before this one blows them out if the water. It isn't wobbly, the three space organizational surface provides plenty of room and the hydraulic height adjust tops it off.It doesn't fit my laptop cooling pad at 16 1/2", nor my 17" laptop itself in the main middle section but easy remedy is prop the pad or laptop up only 1/2 an inch and it is perfect. It does fit laptops 15" and under with any modifications.Would buy again and would recommend over all other laptop stands.I buy over 400 items a year from Amazon and always give an honest review in order to help those trying to make a purchase decision. This product rates 5 stars for use-ability, construction and price.

The poorly welded caster wheels of my former laptop table could not be repaired, so I turned to Amazon to identify a replacement mobile table for my wireless laptop [that I continually use in the TV room, when away from my office's desktop PC]. After carefully examining all the candidates [under $100] available online for purchase, I kept coming back to this foldable laptop rolling cart vended by the Sharper Image and sold thru Amazon [with free super-saver shipping, no less]. Amazon once again had the best price and shipping deal of all eight online sources for this table. This laptop cart arrived in a sturdy compact carton, all pieces were present and intact, and it proved rather simple to assemble [in about 18 minutes]--only after first thoroughly reading and looking at the furnished illustrated assembly directions (BTW, plan to use your own sturdy drill or screwdrivers--one regular and one Phillips-head screwdriver--in place of the paltry screwdriver supplied with the cart's parts). The cart itself is sturdy, fairly well-manufactured, and its height is adjustable to accommodate most seating situations. I like the fold-down side wings, and am keeping one open at all times. The cart's five rolling casters afford a level and sturdy/stable contact with the room's carpet. The surface on which my Lenovo laptop sits is adequate for my 15.9" machine [and even allows for the laptop's side-mounted outlet to accept the plug-in electrical cord].The only possible drawbacks/design deficiencies I have noted in my three days of heavy use of this cart are the following: [1] Indeed, the surface area onto which one places a laptop is flat and is not capable of being adjusted to offer one a slightly tilted keyboarding angle (as some keyboards and some laptops allow by the inclusion of fold-down tabs); of course, if this is a real issue for some, one could buy a suitable pad, cut a sloped wedge to put beneath the laptop, or buy a slanted cooling tray to place underneath the laptop; [2] the surface of the table can unexpectedly spin on its pneumatic, gas-filled adjustable center support post (one would expect that such an issue would have been engineered away); [3], as mentioned by some reviewers, the adjustable-height gas-filled pneumatic center post is harder to collapse than to raise the table surface upward; and [4] I also wish the manufacturer had drilled a strategically placed one-half inch hole through the laptop tray's surface that--in turn--would allow one to thread a power cord through it and subsequently into the power-cord receptacle located on the side or back of a laptop.Overall, I am far more pleased than disappointed with this product. I like its graphite color and like the ability, if desired, to close over the tray one or both of the fold-down side leafs. A plus is that the cart's adequately sized, five smooth-rolling casters allow for easy maneuverability, keep the cart rather balanced, and allow part of the wheel assembly to roll under the coffee table opposite the chair on which I customarily sit each evening to wordprocess any work awaiting me on my laptop. When done, I have a piece of furniture that isn't too obtrusive and can roll out of the way if need be.

Higher quality than I thought it would be.Excellent packaging, excellent assembly instructions that highlight areas that may be trouble for novice assemblers. I never before received such a nice screwdriver, See picture, normally I would use my own and throughout the junk a supplier includes, not this one though.

Had this for a few months and the laminate is already pealing- looks like the glue cant take the heast. Also its very hard to push down- takes all my body weight to get it down. When moving it around the bottom part with the wheels spin as it moves- very frustrating. 3 stars inly because once its in place it is a great laptop stand

This product is very cheap and is not easily able to be assembled. At first when opening the box and starting to assemble the product it was an absolute nightmare. I will say this at first the product seems easy to assemble or as if you’re making progress until you get about 2/3 of the way done. At that point things get way more complicated than it should be. The tools that came to a simple all the products were very unreliable as well as the hardware that needed to be used to assemble the product. Eventually I thought that I had it all figured out and almost done with assembly well I was wrong not only did the cheap product break but I soon learned after the first piece of hardware broke the main hydraulic lift for it to go up and down was Frozen and impossible to unfreeze. Save time and spend just a little bit more money on something that would be worth your money instead of the junk that this item is

Not at all worth the price. This laptop stand has functionality, and looks decent, but is worth $100 tops. Also, be warned this is for a 15" laptop at the largest, and not really built to suit most PC's. I have a 17" alienware laptop and when I put it in this stand there's no room to use the ports on the sides, and the backing plate on the stand is also directly in the way of my power jack, a little off to the rear center of the laptop, forcing me to leave the piece off, and this is a common place to plug in most PC laptops, poor design at best, probably made with Macbooks in mind. So despite them telling you it can fit up to a 17" laptop, I'd say it's 15" functionally. The side shelves are a little wobbly when secured in place, I definitely wouldn't advise putting a liquid beverage on them. It looks better in the picture as well, it's not that bad, but little things like the "The Sharper Image" logo on the back plate being put on crooked, and not centered, looks junky, and reeks of irony. In short if you shop around you can find something even better than this for significantly cheaper. I don't mind paying good money for a quality product, but this is not one of them.

I have one issue. The laminant cover on the wood is coming loose in several areas. Not impressed.
