At home, I usually use an iron if I want to touch up a garment, but there are some delicate fabrics and wool blends that I do not want to iron. I got this steamer for those. It works, but it’s not super speedy. There was a learning curve because at first I would frequently tip the steamer and it would spit or drip out water. I don’t have that problem now, but I frequently have to go over a spot multiple times (especially with a sweater) to get the wrinkles out. It doesn’t hold a lot of water so you may have to fill it a second time, but it heats up quickly. It does work well for travel, but the downside to travel is that I don’t usually travel with distilled water. I do use distilled water at home, but I just used tap water when away from home. It’s not a super expensive commercial steamer, but It is a good option at this price point.

I have tried a lot of portable steamers over the years and this particular one looks exactly like some of the ones I’ve used in the past. However, even though they look alike, they definitely do not all work the same. This one is lightweight and heats up really fast. Works well with some wrinkles coming out with one or just a few passes. Absolutely no spilling or spitting of water like others which is crazy that it even happens for some steamers. Travel friendly and overall, great value for the money. Only thing to note is that the top is a little hard to twist open which is fine by me.

I’ve been using the BY4U Portable Steamer for a few weeks now, and it’s been a really handy tool to have around. The compact size and lightweight design make it perfect for travel, and it fits easily into a carry-on or backpack. I’ve taken it on a business trip, and it’s saved me from wrinkly clothes more than once. The steamer heats up super quickly—about 40 seconds—and delivers a good amount of steam. It handled everything from lightweight blouses to thicker fabrics like jackets without any issues. The 180ml water tank is a decent size and lasts long enough to steam a couple of outfits before needing a refill. It’s easy to use, and I like that it’s safe for all types of fabrics. It’s a solid little steamer that’s great for quick touch-ups at home or on the go.

This is so little that it's easy to fit into your travel bag especially for some important events that you have so that you can steam your clothes and have easy access for it. This is small but mighty, it does the job very well id say. You might have to go over your area a few times but id rather that than not having a steamer accessible to me at all. I like this steamer and seems to work very well for me.

This is smaller than an iron and pretty light for travel or to just keep at home if you needs lots of steam. I tested it out and filled it with tap water and after a minute or two, it was producing a lot of steam. The cord is nice and long for flexibility of use and as long as you are not tilting more than 45 degrees, it will continuously run the whole time as long as the on swith is flipped on and you have water.I was using this to help remove old wallpaper and it did wonders with the hot steam loosening up the old glue. It does what it is supposed to do and very easy to use and pretty compact if you wanted to travel with it. I recommend this product.

Well, I'm spoiled from years using a power "Steam Buggy" brand of steamer, but tbh those are not portable, travel units so of course can be very powerful. I used this on a lightly-wrinkled 100% cotton tee shirt and it got most of the wrinkling out. It's light weight and small, so as a travel steamer, it fits the bill. I would like to see a stronger steam stream and maybe a button for bursts. I'll be using this to spot correct for wrinkles on things, but won't rely on it to produce a crisp result.

This steamer is perfect for quick items and even the bigger things. It heats up in about 2 minutes and is quick to get hot. The tank seems small but it holds enough water to steam an entire dress. There is an on off switch but nothing to control the temperature or the amount of steam that comes out. It's very easy to use and the cord is a nice length that you have room to move around while using it. It gets very hot and takes the wrinkles right out of various fabrics. I could even see using this to disinfectant or clean bigger upholstered items. It does stay very hot for a while even after it's been turned off as the heating element is kind of just exposed inside the water tank. Not a problem as long as you don't try to dump the water immediately after turning it off. It works well and it worth the price.
