I purchased this load cell to troubleshoot my camper suspension and loading. I paired it with the Load Cell Module and Display. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Z29TK7J?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) Total cost for complete scale was under $50. The load cell and module work well together. I'm using a USB power supply and mounted the display module in a small plastic case. Calibration was simple using a bathroom scale and jack under my camper. Hopefully the 2 kg rated loadcell is linear as the calibration load was 350#. No instructions were included with the module, but one of the reviewers for the module did a super job in providing those.

By connecting a 13v alarm battery to a switch and including a 68 ohm resistor to the red wire, I was able to give it a little over 10 volts. Then I connected a digital multi-meter to the green and white wires and setting it to 200mv, I can stand on it and get a reading of .9mv I multiply that by 100 to equal 90kg. I happen to weigh 90kg. I put this load cell in my press and watched the meter go past 10mv. I know that I can't verify the pressure on it but it climbed steady. The machine foot shown in my pic has M16 X 2.0 threads and it fits well.

The part worked great once I got lifting rings. According to the documentation, a 2000 lb device should require 16mm rings, but, in fact, you need 12mm rings. (anyone need a couple of 16mm rings??). IMHO, the part should have been supplied with the proper rings (and apparently the factory one does), but this did not. I ended up spending nearly $25 extra for 16 and then 12mm rings in addition to the sensor itself.Shipping was fast.

This by itself is useless. But if you know what you're buying and what to do with it, and the other hardware to make it work, it's a great deal. Very well made and very accurate. No hesitation to buy it again.

Load cell was installed and worked well for about 2 weeks. It now only reads maximum value with nothing attached. It was not overloaded or used incorrectly. I do not see any method to contact the seller to get a replacement.

Works well so far, haven’t tested with higher than 200#, using raspberry pi and hx711 amplifier.

Had to read thru the questions to find the thread size answer from the representative. The 1 day delivery was 4 days.They said the thread was M12, but it was actually M16 .Had to purchase and wait for new rod ends. Hopefully it works when I hook it up today.

I bought mine at a really good price. I made it into a scale for measuring things up to 4400 lbs. The threads didn't fit a 3/4" bolt, although they were close (likely metric). I simply ran the proper tap thru. It works with compression or tension. I took a 2xAA battery holder with switch and wired it to a boost converter and set it to exactly 10V. I then wired it to a connector that plugs right into my multimeter (std "bullet" style male connector" fits nicely). Whatever my multimeter reads in DC mV (ie 2.543) is 100 kgs, ie 254.3 kgs. Since I threaded it to 3/4" I have hooks I can thread in, or I can simply put it on my floor jack/ farmer jack/ forklift fork and lift whatever I want. It told me how heavy my tongue weight was on my trailer(then I weighed the whole trailer) Using the boost converter allows me to dial in the accuracy if I find it to be out. Before using it I simply took my 2.543/9.5V (9V battery)*1000 to give me my proper reading. Of course this is also useful as a load cell that can be calibrated to a controller or Arduino, but I just want to do random heavy measurements around the house occasionally and is MUCH cheaper than the comparable 2000 kg scales that hang only. (although not quite as user friendly). It must have to do with the technology, but if I thread bolts into it and stand on them, or just stand on it regularly I get the same reading making it very easy to use (hanging gives me a -ve reading)

One got hit by lightning and fried a leg of the bridge. Really weird, I've never witnessed that before. Prior to the lightning it worked like a champ for about a year. I have two more now and they're great.

bought late nov, finally got around to setting up and calibrating, very little output from load cell, and will not calibrate. have two other load cells of different ranges, and they calibrate fine

Most of us aren’t set up, or even have the knowledge, to test the accuracy of a load cell. That’s why calibration certificates are pretty standard when you buy one.The manufacturer has to have a lab to test their load cells for production errors. It’s the only way they can maintain quality. Now, without a calibration certificate, it makes me wonder if the manufacturer even performs quality control during production.I consider 2 stars to be generous.
