Disasters happen. I used to live in Florida, trust me, I know. What a simple device. It is so easy to use and lasts a year. Disasters, hiking, camping, etc. Who wouldn’t want clean drinking water? Worth every penny!

I keep these in our vehicles. We have get him bags that have bare essentials in them (knife, protein bar, mylar blanket, rain poncho...that sort of thing), and we keep at least one of these in those bags at all times. This should suffice for most situations where you just need a drink of water to not get dehydrated. I don't know if they will filter out all contaminants, but they are better than having nothing at all. Get a few of them, put them in your vehicle, in your EDC bag, backpacks, etc. You never know when you'll need water.

I was recently climbing Mt. St. Helens in July. This is an interesting time of year because the sun was hot, and it was easy to become dehydrated, but the ground still had a snow covering that was quickly melting. I ended up exhausting my water supply and began drinking the run-off. At the time, I had nothing to purify it, but it made me think of how important it was to carry a filtration device with me. These fit the bill perfectly. The are small, lightweight, and self-sufficient. They are a great solution for hikers, survivalists, or preppers looking to have a nice portable water filtration solution. I can't speak to the quality claims, but they seem to stack up to the name brands, and they have a great look and feel that exudes quality.

I have not used these much but will update if there are any issues. So far not issues upon opening, but the packaging is very simple. Makes me wat to second guess the quality a bit and how well they work.
