This is a great spot welder. Have used on a few projects so far and it was easy to use, holds up great, has a storage case to hold everything, and isn't too large. Very happy with this purchase!

This product makes portable welding very convenient. It's so small and compact, that it's easy to transport to any job site. Even though it's small, it provides a lot of welding power. It's very easy to set up and use. Makes very nice and strong welds.

So I have had this thing for about 2 years now. Originally bought cuz I wanted to see if such a small device would work.. the first year I had a lot of difficulties with it.. just doesn't have quite enough power to use anything but 1/16" rods.. then i accidentally broke off the grounding prong on the plug.. I have heavy duty welding gloves so I wasn't worried about it shocking me.. at worst pop a breaker.. but I'll be damned if the freaking thing started working better after that.. I can use 1/8" rods now and even some 3/32" rods.. honestly probably not the best idea to continue using it but it's lasted just over 2 years.. now it's coming apart.. screws started coming out with plastic still attached.. I have electric tape holding it together and it's still kicking and I have put quite a few hours on it. It's good for diy I have welded as thick as 1/4" steel when I did some custom adjustments on my 3 ton husky automotive jack that I needed for my particular situation and the welds have held with no problem lifting and holding fox body mustang and a few suvs so I can vouch for its penetration capability and it's ability to weld.. it is a bit strange because of its drill like style (i thought it would make it easier) and takes a little time to adjust

This little stick welder is pretty convenient for doing small to medium welds where you just need metal to stick together. It's small enough that it doesn't take up much room in the garage but still let's me be able to quickly and securely weld. It good for welding in dirty or less than ideal environments since stick welding doesn't require as much cleaning to work. It comes in a nice little case to hold it and feels sturdy. I've used it quite a bit for some tasks I've been putting off and just haven't had the time to go rent a welder or buy a large machine that I don't have a 220v plug for
