This was nearly exactly what I needed. They are lighter and smaller than I expected by maybe 30%, but I was still able to easily use it for painting the hood of my Ram 2500 truck.The plastic/foam on the top bars did leave a kind of thick residue on my hood which was frustrating. However, I live in Phoenix and it was very hot that day, maybe around 100ºF so YMMV, but it is something you should be aware of if you put the "nice side" of anything down onto it.Regardless, these are affordable and sturdy, and I recommend them. Maybe wrap some painters tape around the foam rests, though.

Well built, very sturdy, strong, easy to adjust. Easily holds door panel for working/painting on. Also use them as ad lib work table with a piece of plywood laid over them. Nice hardware and finish.

This item came with no assembly instructions. Pretty simple right? Not so fast. The tube inserts were off on fitment, paint just cracked and crumbled onto the floor when inserting on both tubes. The legs can be assembled two ways. The stand does open and close easily and will support good weight. If the tube fit was right I'd give it 4 or 5 stars.
