It works by keeping water & dust out of the port. These little plugs work really well - tight fit but easy to remove. I fried another phone when I didn’t realize a rainstorm + jeans pocket + plenty of time = seriously damaged phone.

This plugs fit into lightning or USB-C ports. I normally charge my iPhone by Mag-Safe chargers. My phone spends a lot of time in my pocket where the port can collect dust, lint and other small debris and then when I do want to use a cable for charging or connecting to CarPlay, it can interfere with getting a clean connection. These plugs fit snugly into the port and keep it clean. I don't have to try to clean out that small port when I need to use it. Great product that works.

Plug fits snugly, but isn't difficult to remove, even with a phone case and short nails. The plug protrudes less than my phone case, so it's very low profile. Brush works well.

Port plugs are small & fit perfectly on iPhone 16. They are small, but well designed to keep dust, lint, etc out of the charging port. Exactly what I was looking for.

These work well for phones with USB-C as the size of the port is measured by nanometers.Placing in different accessories; the plugs may be too small. This is because usb-c ports can measure slightly larger or smaller from one manufacturer to the next.If you have something other that a phone, perhaps try some other dust plugs first to see how they fit.Again, these plugs work great for most phones.

Best thing I ever bought. In construction so I constantly had issues with my charging ports due to dust/debris. Glue holds well and plug is snug. Get about a month out of them before it rips in half between the glue pad and the plug.

The USB-C port on my phone quit working. Cleaned it out but still doesn't work. $300 to replace port. Bought a new Galaxy and these. Now on any empty USB-C port on all electronics. Worth the small investment. Electronic gear manufacturers should be including these.

The item serves the purpose. However item is different from what is advertised. The colour is different. There is no manufacturer name or address on the packaging as shown on the website. I requested replacement. But I received the same item as before. Since it serves my purpose i am keeping it.

These are perfect if you work a labour job! My charging port was getting gunk in it and that gunk would harden and I couldn't charge my device or use android auto. After a professional cleaning , and the gunk removed I started to use these every day while at work. Has kept my USB-C port clear ever since.
