All my carbon steel and cast iron pans now nest without any scraping or scratching of the the seasoning. They do a excellent job.

The image shows a half sheet pan, a roasting pan, a 9†round cake pan, and a standard loaf pan on top. Hope that helps you figure out the size.Pros: they do have some grip, and because they are so floppy they actually work really well for mixing different shaped pans.Cons: a little smaller than anticipated, and if stretched they do go white-so does not pass the pinch test.I just bought two more sets. They are a little pricy compared to the polyester felt ones but for nonstick cookware that will just slide around on those: I think it’s worth it. Shame there aren’t more sizes available though.

I had been using shelf liner between my old pots and pans. They worked but had to be replaced often. These are thick and (I expect) long lasting/easily cleaned. The 'gripper' knobbies are nice as they keep the protector from slipping when I remove a pan.

They are kinda floppy and I have seen and used the padded/felt ones and they seem to A work better as they create a larger gap and B are more stiff and easy to move around and stack. I would say if you want to store these when they are not in use these could take up less space.
