You know how cats are, new toys are good for about 5 min and then nobody touches them after that. These rope are addicting to my kitties. The ropes come in a plastic casing and in there is a small pouch of recharging catnip. Every so often I return the ropes to the pouch for "re-infusing". The ropes are like brand new when they come out to play again. Can't beat these for play time and at a decent price.

Worked for our 7 yo tabby immediately! No negative side effects. He goes nuts for 5 minutes and then walks away. Probably a good idea to keep it in a drawer when not in use. Took off a star because I am worried about him gnawing the gall fruit by accident though it is tied on securely. Am cutting the fruit off just for peace of mind and will keep the rope sealed in a bag with catnip to keep the fun going.

As the parent of an overly zealous young Bengal, I am constantly on the hunt for toys in order to prevent his insatiable need to utilize his teeth and claws to create Rorschach art on my arms.Enter these lifesavers. From the moment I opened the package, I had an immediate ankle weight, and got fussed at with many a chirp and ekekekeke since apparently I cannot open packages fast enough. (Not that there was any issue with the packaging, the toys arrived in excellent condition and were ready for play immediately upon opening)When I ordered these, I expected them to be more bendable (based solely on the pictures, and please note I was intoxicated and desperate while ordering these), but they’re actually quite soft and floppy. They appear to be well stitched, and the smell of catnip hit me immediately. The Bengal immediately pounced on the first toy thrown on the floor, and proceeded to kick and kick and kick and bite and honestly display more violence than I was anticipating, and I’m delighted. The gremlin spent a good half hour ensuring that the toy was properly “dead†and then proceeded to curl up in bed with the toy and did not move for the next hour. Pictured above, blissfully jamming out to Bob Marley, stoned out of his kitty mind.Since the initial pounce, all three toys have received heavy playtime, with no signs of coming apart (always my fear with rope toys). So far little Mr. Destructive has been vanquished. Either that or his drug problem is only mildly sated. For the value for money, durability, and kitty approval factors, I’m happy to say these rope toys will be in the permanent rotation moving forward.

We have a "toddler" cat who is about 9 months old and wants to chew on things often (like he chews on the edges of the cardboard scratchers and we don't want him to choke on the chewed off pieces of cardboard). So we were seeking toys, different from the kick toys we already have, that would get him to play and chew on safe things. These long snake-like toys seemed like they would be perfect, but he played with them for maybe a minute and I can't get him to play with them or chew on them since. I've liberally sprayed them with catnip spray and still no interest for more than 30 seconds and definitely is not working in the way I expected and needed for the cat. The size was great, price was reasonable, but if the item doesn't work for what you bought it for, it's a waste of money. They appear safe, very chewable if you can get your pet TO chew it, and durable to last a long time. The smell of the catnip sent with the ropes did not interest my cat in the least. Perhaps you would have better interest and luck with your pet.

As described. Cats love it. Larger than expected which I love. Doesn’t make a noise. Colorful.

I love how these toys are made with durable material, and the addition of refillable natural catnip keeps my cats engaged for hours. They especially enjoy chewing on the ropes, and it’s fun to watch them chase the toys around when they’re excited by the catnip. It's a great way to keep them entertained and active. Overall, a fantastic value and a must-have for any cat owner looking to spoil their feline friends!

They are cute and appear to be good quality. I was looking forward to having my cats enjoy them, but they are dog toys more than they are cat toys. There is no catnip to be found, despite what the description says, and there is a squeaker inside. If your cat enjoys stuffed toys without catnip, or you have a dog, these might be a great option for you. Unfortunately, I ordered these expecting the catnip.

These are for small dogs. It's not catnip..it's a squeaky Toy for dogs!!! :( I wouldn't have gotten these if I knew that. I wanted CATNIP TOYS. Not dog squeaky toys. :(

The description says there's catnip in these toys, I can confirm there is zero, cuz I opened one up. They all have a small sized squeaker and stuffing inside. But no catnip. Only reason it's getting 2 stars is they are true to size depicted in the product images.
