Works perfectly. I put D batteries in and the trash can always flashed that the battery was low. I plugged this in and it works great. The lid opens faster as well. If you have the itouch can... get this adaptor.

This cord is VERY short (3ft max) and wouldn’t reach from the desk to the wall or floor.

This power supply can be used with much more than just IP phones. I do a lot of projects with microcontrollers requiring 5 volt power. 3 amps can power a lot! This supply comes with a common 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug with the inner connector being + and the outer sleeve being - (also common). The power supply I received varies slightly from the one advertised in that the stabilization pad around the plug is smaller and does little to help hold the power supply in alignment with the outlet, otherwise it should perform as expected. It puts out a steady 5 volts; I didn’t test for the 3 Amps.
