Unit arrived in perfect condition and well packed. Nice looking and functions perfectly..Let's start with the only bad feature of the AS-336BU. The FM radio section is to put it mildly horrible it sounds like the channels are tuned off frequency even though the display indicates the correct frequency. I live in Los Angeles area and there are many very strong stations. None are received well enough to enjoy. A small extendable antenna (not removable) is provided. An external antenna jack would possibly have a better choice for the antenna.The unit is well designed and easy to learn to operate. Remote functions perfectly, tested to over 40 feet distance. The display is adequate but sparce.The remote volume control maximum is set by the main volume control on the unit The remote volume control level is referenced by numerical scale 0-30, 30 being the maximum. Again the maximum volume out available by remote control is set by the front panel main volume control knob.A small warning when powering off the unit with the main power switch, the remote volume defaults to 30 which is the maximum, so if you have the main front panel volume set high you could possibly damage your speakers, when powering back on.Suggest when powering off the unit, set the front panel volume control to 0.If you use the remote to power off, the last remote volume level is remembered.Inserting a memory card, the unit automatically switches to the SD card or USB. Inserting both SD and USB is possible and when one is removed the unit automatically switches to the other.When using the USB or SD card removing the card reverts to the line input auxiliary. Would have been a nice to revert to the last state.When reinserting the USB or SD memory card the unit does remember where you were and continues the play back where you left off.Only FAT, FAT32 or exFAT format are recognized.File formats tested MP3 and FLAC play without problem.Bluetooth paired easily and has an excellent range.Stereo separation is excellent. There was no discernable noise with no signal present.Power supply voltages are stable and accurate on plus and minus 12 volts, same for the +5 volt supply.The 7805 +5 V regulator and the 7812 +12 V regulator generate a fair amount of heat, Heat sinks could be better, although the temperature is well below the maximum rating of 150 degrees Celsius. This unit measured approx 60 degrees celsius on the heat sink. The 7912 negative voltage regulator is very hot the touch and there is no heat sink provided which possibly is an oversight. Easily remedied for a few cents. I added one.The amplifier section after hours of operation still runs cool. There is no discernable distortion even at high volume level. The majority of the heat is from the power regulators.It's an interesting feature to have both an active equalizer and a bass and treble controls, a bit unusual but it is effective.The equalizer controls are effective however it would be nice to have a detent for the 0 position. Balance control is perfectly centered.Default Condition when powering up,remote volume maximum (30) ,line input auxiliary selected automatically.Left to test is the microphone and auxiliary inputs.

They mixer sounds really good! Works great. It took a week and a half for them to ship the product. But once shipped it arrived fast, and within the timeframe stated. This is worth the price.

Returned for the following reasons:- Strong hum noise on both channels making listening at low volume almost painful.- Loud pop noise (DC spikes) when turning power on or off, which could be harmful to the speakers.- Bluetooth disconnected every 3-4 minutes that practically made the function useless.- Bad volume control linearity. That is to say, the unit got too loud with a very small turn of the volume knob, which made fine adjustment harder.- Graphic equalizer adjusters (sliders) are not continuous. A single slider only has a few discrete levels, instead of adjusting the level continuously.
