I use this with the "FullCircle Radius360" sander. Works out great for quickly sanding drywall.I would highly recommend getting the 2-4 foot pole for this use case however, as the 4-8 foot pole is far too long in most cases. I intend to purchase the smaller pole at some point.The pole itself is very sturdy, even at full extension, and, while somewhat heavy, still feels fairly light given its size and strength. I have an issue with the lock release being tough to release at times, but a firm grip is all it takes to remedy that. It does not slide when locked, and is easily adjusted to the length desired with the well made locking mechanism.I have yet to use this for painting, but given how sturdy it is, I highly doubt that there would be any problems securely mounting a roller on it.I recommend this, however, do realize that 4-8 foot is much larger than the numbers sound, and buy the appropriate length for your use case.

Very sturdy and so handy to be able to stay off a ladder, the reach is great and rollers arms attach well.

Can’t beat these poles, makes rolling so much easier and fluid. You’ll get much longer strokes with the roller using this, resulting in a better looking wall.

This paint pole is gigantic and it feels like it is really for professional painters since it is very thick and very long and would be amazing if I was painting something that was outdoors or whatever. I am keeping it for that reason so that I have it, but I feel like it’s kind of heavy duty so if you’re not painting a lot, you might want to get some thing that is a little bit smaller. The quality is excellent though if you are if you have a lot of painting jobs.

This is the pole I was looking for. I needed a sturdy pole to help me train my dog, Springer Spanial, to love chasing birds. I was going to go with a bamboo pole, but thought I'd give this one a try. For the same price as a fixed bamboo pole I bought the adjustable pole. I can not only use it to train my dog but when I paint I'all have it instead of using a step ladder. Also I can put a squeegy on its and clean my windows. Thank's for selling this "4 - 8 foot Professional Grade Pole!

It allowed me to paint the whole wall without using a ladder or step stool. Very good quality locking mechanism for the roller handle. Only problem is all roller do not fit the roller screws because of the lock.
