Your cart is empty.The Power Probe Amp Tip takes your Power Probe from only measuring dc volts to amps. The backlit LCD screen displays both the Amps as well as the min/max amps. It measures as amps as low as 1mA and up to 10A continuesly. The adapter tip allows you to ensure that the current never exceeds 75% of the fuse that it protects. The adapter is easy to install. Just remove the tip from your power probe and install the adapter into the banana jack.

PPamp accessory works with my autel branded power probe. It has a 2032 battery inside which makes it a stand alone tool. On the back of tool it states 10amp in/out. Just to experiment I hooked up my fluke 87 with internal fuse protection to my truck in series with battery make sure I wasn't over 10amp. Had 3 amp reading with drivers door open.I hooked up PPamp (see photo) meter stand alone in series with my battery and got 3amp. Closed my driver's door amp draw was .200ma I'm sure it would been .050ma if I gave time to sit as my truck doesnt have a draw (same a fluke 87 mm)Next time I need to do amp draw test at work will try it again. Had to buy a few 4mm banana jack connectors to make it work.Measure amp draw with or w/o power probe. It seems to be accurate at low amp draw. Great little tool!

I snapped this up to add to my power probe at work since everything is going PWM and 5V reference these days, this will allow me to make a quick and accurate diagnosis.

If you know electricity then you know being able to know the amperage is extremely important. This amp adapter is a must have.
