I had to cut off the little centering pin from the panel in order to get my new panel into place and attached with the two screws

I am very pleased by these replacements for broken control housings. A direct replacement, they are an upgrade from OE and offer similar or better durability than original parts, furthermore making them an exceptional value.

Back in the day, I cannot imagine how you would get your hands on a part like this. I guess you would get it through the dealer for an absurd amount of cash. Now, there are a ridiculous amount of sources right here on Amazon. And I got it overnight!

I thought this was going to a simple part to install. I was wrong. I spent about an hour to make it look acceptable. The color match and the grain effect are not very good either.Fortunately you only see it when you open the door. About all I can say is it's better than the broken one.
