If you hear a squealing noise when you turn the steering wheel, or when driving slowly, it means the power steering pump is failing. and when you start the car & hear a clunking or chattering noise under the hood, it is related to the power steering pump failure.

Cheap and easy to install i was a little scare of buying auto parts thru Amazon but this actually worked out pretty good and I actually sold the car i talked to the person that bought the vehicle and they haven't had no issues

I didn't replace myself, but the mechanic had the part replaced in 10 minutes and the squeeling stopped. Car is quiet once again.

Power steering pump for '08 Honda Accord was purchased November 2022. By the end of June 2023 it started making a loud noise that gets worse as the engine accelerates and quieter as engine slows down. Also, the pully has started to wobble. Power steer fluid level is fine. The part is junk! Return window has closed. Trying to get in touch with seller to see if he will help out, like a local parts store would. If not, I have learned my lesson and will not buy any more parts through Amazon!

Other than getting later on the day I expected it the pump works just fine. Whether it lasts a while only time will tell.
