Although it states that these calipers with the number 1948 will fit a 2001 Subaru Legacy (GT Model) it is wrong. 1948s are too big. After verifying with Powerstop themselves, you will need the 1948A calipers in order to get a fit and the correct pads. This should be corrected by the vendor.

These calipers are strong and reliable. It's been 21 years since this vehicle was "new" so I can't remember how good OEM calipers actually perform. With that said, I bet performance with these is as good or even better. Purchase with confidence.
