About 15 months after I installed these calipers one of the seals on one side began to leak. Fortunately, my mechanic caught it while changing my transmission fluid. I called Powerstop and I had a brand new pair in 2 days. All I had to do was show a receipt and the new ones were on my doorstep. I do not need the other side but I'll keep it just in case. While it's a disappointment that it failed in the first place, they really held up their end of the deal with the warranty replacements as quickly as possible. Thanks Power Stop. I'll be ordering new front brakes and calipers this week. DL in Mass

I replaced all four calipers, rotors, and pads on my Lexus GX470. They have been on the vehicle for about two months now and they work great. I even like the red painted calipers as they add a distinct look to the vehcile. Took about two hours ro replace all the parts. Easy job for a DIY person. My only glitch, if you want to call it that, is Power Stop will pay you around $60 if you return good cores back to them. They say will send a check in 30 days. I returned the calipers in the manner they requested, but I have yet to received the check. Hopefully soon.

Upon completion of install, I proceeded to torque to factory specs. The caliper guide pins torque value is 65 ft lbs. All but the passenger side upper guide pin reached 65 ft lbs. I had already threaded the guide pin by hand and then ratcheted it snugged perfectly fine. I then proceeded to torque the guide pin which calls for 65 ft lbs by factory specs. The guide pin stripped the inner threads of the caliper well before reaching 65 ft lbs and was then spinning free. I emailed PowerStop with pictures and an explanation. They denied the warranty claim because it was damaged during because of my improper installation and quoted the warranty “This warranty also excludes stripped bleeder and banjo bolt holes caused by over-tighteningâ€. I replied stating that it was properly installed. It’s not the banjo nor the bleeder. It’s the GUIDE PIN that is supposed to torqued to 65 ft lbs but never reached the torque value because the inner threads failed. They still said it’s not covered, told me to get a refund from the seller and simply stopped replying to my emails. It’s really frustrating knowing you did everything correct and they’re telling you that you’re wrong, especially when they’re identifying the wrong parts after you provide a full detailed explanation with pictures. All I asked was to get a replacement for passenger side. I ended up requesting a refund from the seller and bought a different brand.

The product is solid it looks and performs well. Here is what you need to understand. When you are shopping for similar items YOU CAN NOT assume the price of the core will be returned. Simple Math the core price is $45 shipping is $25 ups $36 usps so unless you can walk them back to Il. consider that into the full price. If return shipping was included this would be 5 star product
