What is the Power Window Lift Motor?
- The power window motor is a kind of window, which is raised and lowered by a motor controlled by a switch. After activating the switch, it completes the circuit, supplies power to the motor, and then moves the window up or down.
- Take the drivers input via a switch and send a power signal to the motor to move the window up or down. The window regulator transfers power from the window motor to the window glass, moving it up or down.

How to replace the power window motor?
- Step 1: Use the door clip remover to remove the sail panel. It is fixed by two clips.
- Step 2: Remove the panel behind the door handle. You can then use a screwdriver here to remove the screws that secure these controls to the door. Then, I use a butter knife or plastic panel tool to release the door handle from the rest of the door panel.
- Step 3: Use a plastic panel tool or a butter knife to remove the decorative strip on the door panel
- Step 4: Remove two more bolts.
- Step 5: Use the panel clip removal to release the clip. You will see that the red circle is where the clip is located.
- Step 6: Remove 4 screws from the speaker. Please be careful and push hard when removing, because they are easy to peel off.
- Step 7: Now, there are two black panels in the middle of the inner door panel. Remove them and they will give you access to the bolts that secure the glass to the window motor.
- Step 8: Attach the clip to the new window.
- Step 9: Slide the glass in from the outside at an angle. Align it with the slots on both sides, and then slide it down into the hole. There should be a lip on the clip.
- Step 10: Reverse procedure. Put the speaker, door panel, 3 bolts, 2 decorative panels and 1 sail panel back into the tweeter. Don't forget to back up everything.

This is a replacement of a crappy aftermarket one I got on Amazon. I used this for a 2006 Mazda 3, passenger's side rear window. Incredibly easy to install. It works great after a month - will update this review if it ever fails, because I'm the kind of guy that NEVER forgets to do things like that.

Install was straightforward. The window race from left side to right side is not the same. This replacement is slower than the OEM part and also louder. Other than that, it does the job. If you don’t mind a slower roll up or down and a different pitch motor noise, this one is for you.

I have a 2009 Mazda 5 hatchback wagon and it's not getting any younger & the miles are not going in reverse. I have now used 3 of these power window motors from the same company, and this company is spot on.Fit & finish, everything plugs right in, and right up to where it supposed to be. And so far, so good. Nothing negative. Good product. Only time will tell how long they last ?

I needed a replacement part to fix the driver's side front window in my 2005 Mazda 3. This fit perfectly. I am not mechanically inclined, so i had my dad supervise haha, but the only thing he ended up doing was handling me tools and helping me line up the door panel to snap it back on.
