Powerbuilt Harmonic Balancer and Crank Pulley Puller & Installer Kit
Sometimes a harmonic balancer just doesn’t want to come loose but using a pry bar may damage the part. Loosen it the easy way with the innovative crankshaft pulley and harmonic balancer puller and installer set. Just fasten the 2/3 combination yoke to the balancer with the included bolts and twist the center screw until the harmonic balancer breaks free. Strong and dependable enough to last a lifetime.
Kit Services: Many domestic V8 and V6 engines with harmonic balancers with threaded holes. Also services many 1990 and newer Chrysler crankshafts.

Purchased this kit to change the harmonic balancer on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee (with 4.0L) with the specific purpose of using the 3-jaw puller to avoid having to pull the radiator. It does not work on this particular balancer (not due to clearance, but the jaws do not align with the balancer inner ring arms). However, once removing the radiator the standard puller and installer worked great! Very sturdy construction and high quality components. I expect to get many years of use out of this kit.

Well worth the money for pulling the crankshaft pulley off the ford 3.5L and 2.7L engines.

Would be great if the puller arms engaged at a parallel or better angle in reference to the crank.......it worked, but was nervous the arms were about to slip off during the pull.

This little thing works great. Before I use to struggle with cheapie gear pullers, U know the flea market 3 claw, 3 clamp set. pieces of garbage is what they are, they slip off, the center bolt bends, they should come with a box of band-aids... Any way, this puller is awesome, works great. the only thing that i ran into is the one pin is a little tight, i had to grind it a little, It is the pin that you put in the end of the center of the puller. Hard to explain. It maybe, that im not using it the way im suppose to, dont know. I Do know there's enough stuff there that you should be able to pull just about any pulley.

Worked to pull the harmonic balancer off 1993 Eagle Vision (Intrepid) but it does NOT include installer for this engine! I needed to make a custom installer myself.Still, a good deal.

The only reason it got a four star was because i was cheap, the tool works great but i needed a longer inlet and this kit only comes with three. Lucky i found an old value lifter from a rebuild. So all in all very good tool for the price...

Seems to be good quality. I like powebuilt tools but nowhere did I see that it would or wouldn’t work with GM’s. At least it wouldn’t work with my 03 Tahoe the pin for taking off is too short same for installing the threaded piece are too short
