Powered hubs usually have mixed reviews - they work for some folks but not for others. I took a chance on this one and couldn't be happier. Quality seems good and it works perfectly. I like that each USB port has an individual switch, and those switches are solid and functional. I've powered it with my MacBook charger (bought a separate cable for that) and it runs a lot of USB devices on my desk.

I really like this strip, perfect solution for a solid state MiniPC. I can plug in everything that doesn't have to be directly plugged into the PC(speaker, camera, external hard drives, etc) in a neat, orderly fashion, and can turn each item in or off individually. Recommend.

I have multiple external drives and hate that they are all on when I only need 1 or 2 drive at the time. This allows me to ‘turn off’ the drives I don’t need. No issues connecting my 256mg USB flash or my 4 terabyte drives. Power cord is long enough so I can have it on my desk for easy access. Very useful.

All of the ports on the hub work well, and it seems to be very well made. The buttons on the hub have a very solid feel and make a nice click when activated. I actually use the charging port for my splitter on my cable network. Works well so far.
