This is a good, strong rope that is easy to tie and easy to see. It stays tied but is readily untied when you need to untie it.

I’ve been using this rope as a static rope to set up top rope anchors, as well as with hand ascenders to scale trees for this past 2 years. Pretty decent quality static rope, great value for the money, the core is much softer than more expensive rock climbing ropes. I attached a picture of me compressing my 10.5 mm static rope (orange), versus my expensive rock climbing rope in 9.5mm (blue). You can see how the more expensive rope has a stronger core, and less compression than this orange one. I’ve taken one small fall with this rope, and besides some fraying on the exterior (pic 1 provided) the core appeared untouched. Good quality rope for the money

I needed an inexpensive very strong rope that would not stretch to use with a come-a-long and a pulley to tension a large high-tech shade canopy. This rope absolutely fit the bill! But it’s very stiff, unlike other climbing ropes which are very soft and smooth and subtle. This rope is perfect if you don’t have to run it through climbing hardware where the rope will have to make a lot of acute bends and turns where it would have to slide/glide easily though the hardware such as what you might find for using belays and such… it would work in those contexts, but not very easily…

I would not recommend rappelling on this more than say 30 feet. The sheath slips a lot, which became quite a problem for me while using a grigri. The sheath began to twist, bunch, and bind in the grigri while rappelling. I had to winch back up to the anchor. It says UIAA certified? I doubt that. The weave must be very un-dense; the rope is squishy, kinks, and feels sketchy. And again, on first use the sheath slippage is off the charts, maybe 30%?
