Just a note: This converter is the reverse setup from my original model. The fuse box is on the left side and the breakers are on the right. For ease of install, I just removed the converter from the case, flipped it around, and slid it into my old housing unit, but beware: this unit is soldered together and cleanly tied for install as a whole: I had to wrestle with it and cut and splice wires in order to pull this off. It also meant that the screw holes that keep the converter in place inside the housing were on the wrong side, but I was still able to use the old screws to hold it down at the edge of the metal base. But it was still relatively easy to do, even for this utter novice, it fixed my problem (the old converter's fan ran constantly until it finally stopped working altogether) and it runs great. Hurray!

fit perfectly in , works great no noise or winning at all , door was broken, seller responded very fast and I had a new complete cover in 2 days , power supply uses pigtail wire so you can wire nut in , I added a buss bar , didn't want to uses wire nuts will add a photo ...very happy with it pricing is great

Unit arrived ahead of schedule and was well packaged. Installation was fairly easy, but the reverse layout from the original required a bit of rewiring. Has been in and working for a week now and seems to be doing its job well.

Bought this is an alternative to the WFCO model and worked identically. Item had a defective latch and door would fall open. Contacted Tech Support and they sent me a new door within a few days. Very fast response, very solid product. Users manual pretty brief, could use a few more details.

This is not the correct replacement for the WFCO WF-8955PEC. See pictures. Everything is completely reversed with this model from the original. So if you are going to replace the entire distribution panel, you will need some wire splices to make the wires reach. Fortunately I only needed the inverter portion so I was able to remove the inverter, flip it wire it in to the original panel. I emailed the mfg and never heard a word of concern or assistance.

Hookup was really easy and yes it is switched on the DC side positive and negative are switched.

Like others have mentioned, we had to pull the converter and use it but couldn’t use the panel itself. It’s a 30amp panel. It wasn’t mentioned in the listing at the time of purchase. It’s a bummer since the cost was higher than a convert alone and we really wanted the upgrade panel.The converter does seem to be working well.

Already have this inverter and ordered another to replace the one in the 2nd utility however not delivered within the time frame /ETA provided. Disappointed since the heating system in the trailer depends on a functional unit like this. Hope we receive it soon to put it to work

The converter works well, installation instructions lacking clarity.. Having an electrician install helped.. Unit works well now..
