These are pretty impressive. Fit tighly in 3/4" round holes in my Hoffman and Hammer bench, the side wire "spring" is very strong, (maybe a bit too strong?). You can buy a bunch of wooden dowels and make your own for less $, but I only needed 2, so for around $5 each, I couldn't beat that. They can get stuck in the holes if pushed in deep, and they are quite short, so pushing them back out from under the bench is a bit of a pain. I found grabbing the protruding end with a rubber coated needle nose works well to extract, or prying them up with a flat head screw driver on the flat waffle-face works well.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these dogs. What a pleasant surprise! The inserts do a good job keeping wood secure for your router. Once placed in the holes, they are very secure. A real bargain.

Value for money. You could make your own but I like the strength and feel of metal bench dogs. However I wouldn't spend $30+ on brass ones unless you're after the aesthetic. I'll be buying at least two more of these.I used a a 3/4" forstner bit to drill the holes in my 4" thick bench top and these fit pretty good. They're not crazy tight or too loose. They slide up and down without too much effort and more importantly they do what they need to do.

Work like a charm. I like the plastic for the blade safety. We do a LOT of hand planing. If a mistake can be made to tear up something, we can do that !! Plastic is.....well, plastic.Good Value

I have only played these clamps to see how well they work. They will hold your work piece firmly, and at least for my bench, I do not need the screws from below to make them work. I like the rubber pads and how easily they lock in place. BUT...The screw/knobs provided are too short for my bench (about 1-3/4" thick). I suppose they will work with a bunch uptown about 1-5/16" thick. Sadly, the knobs are attached to the screws in a manner that precludes the screws from being replaced with longer ones. Also, all the various knob/screw combos I have around are either 1/4-20 or 5/16-18. These are M8-1.25 screws. Ugh.As I said they hold firmly without the knob/screw, but I think that is leading to the workpiece being slightly lifted off the bench when the clamp is tightened. Maybe 1/16-1/8" or so. I'm not sure as I don't have any M8 screws around to test things out.So, if your bench is under 1-5/16" thick, I think these are great. If it's thicker, you need to think what your options are. I like these well enough that I'm going to pick up some M8 screws and 3D print some knobs to use with them.I debated about whether to give 3 or 4 stars for this. If the screws had been long enough, it would have been 5, but the fact they are not makes it 4, and the fact they can easily be modify drops it to 3. Sorry.

I just created a new fancy spoil board for my PrintNC CNC machine. I made the 19mm holes in Fusion360 19.05mm. The measured dimension after manufacture was 18.80mm these Powertec clamps are a perfect fit.

These are easy to use and do a great job holding projects in place on my workbench. I use them to sand, chisel and to secure wood for applying epoxy.

These are well made and seem sturdy. Only time will tell how sturdy. I found them to be very hard to insert into my bench top and extract. They did do what they are supposed to do though. I am a big fan of Powertec products.

Nice compact size and lightweight with ample strength. More convenient to have in easy reach than the biggger heavy brass ones and much more affordable to keep several of them around.

Habe ich für meinen Selbstgebauten Arbeitstische gekauft. Tun ihren Zweck und halten gut. Ich nutze sie zum Anlegen der Schienen für meine Tauchkreissäge. Sehr hilfreich.
