I used this for the short hose runs from my duct to my machines. It fit a couple brands of hose and PVC snugly as well as into my Rockler blast gates. Good value compared to other brands.

So I've found that this fitting fits somewhat loosely within D2729 thin wall sewer and drain pipe, but that it fits reasonably tightly into the narrow (male) end of a street fitting (e.g. 90 or 45 elbow). Of course, the other end works fine for connecting to 4" dust hose with a hose clamp.

Fit over the dust port on my powermatic table saw and into my 4†flex hose. Worked as expected.

I used this to make a dust collector quick connect. I hose clamped my four inch dust collection hose to one side and the other side goes on the 4" OD outlet of various shop tools (table saw, planer, etc). I lightly sanded the inside of the 4" ID side to make it a slightly looser fit on the dust collection ports. It still friction fits, but it is easier to get on and off.

This does not slip directly onto green 4" DWV SDR35 / ASTM D 1784/ ASTM D 2729 pipe.It however does fit really nicely into the couplings used for those pipes and it allows for the connection of a 4" dust hose which doesn't fit directly onto a 4" DWV pipe.

PVC sewer line comes in two thicknesses. The common stuff is .090" thick and normally white. There is also a thicker type, often green in color, that has a .127" wall thickness. If your PVC (NOT ABS) pipe is the thinner version the smaller end of the adapter will fit into sewer pipe as described.I was not as fortunate with the other end fitting my hose. I only have one unknown brand of hose but it fits the factory dust port on my table saw as well as the 4" end of a Powertec 70136 4"x2-1/2" Reducer so I have to assume my hose has a fairly standard ID. The reducer OD is 3-61/64" and is a close slip fit to the inside of the big end of the 70125 adapter so I do not see how the big end is supposed to fit a 4" hose. The big end of the 70125 adapter is 4-7/32" so it is far too large to fit a 4" hose.Fortunately, the bigger end is close to the size of the ID of 4" PVC couplings and ells. I made it fit tightly by applying a single layer of blue painter's tape to the adapter and attached the hose to the smaller end with a hose clamp. Every joint in my dust collection system is fitted with blue painter's tape so it can be altered as needed.I would rate the item "not as described" but saw still able to make it useful.

I've tried almost every fitting for making quick connections in my 4" dust collection system. I have a small shop with not a lot of space, so I need to move the hose from tool to tool. 4" hose fits perfectly on the small end. The large end slips on all the 4" outlets on my tools and cyclone separator with just the right tightness to hold a vacuum and stay put, while still being able to be pulled off easily. These work much better than all the tapered-type fitting I've tried.

Nothing fit together, I ordered several fittings and y's etc. I order an adapter and you would think it would fit onto the Y, or the Gate, but NO everything are the same size, so you need a coupler, but they don't sell a coupler, so now I either need to use a 4" piece of flex hose, (which makes the joint weaker) or I will need to design and print my own with my 3d printer.
