Look well made and work ok. Will see if they really work to prevent clogged gates after some use. Rating as 4 stars because they would be better if they had an effective mounting method.

They work as intended. There seems to be some leakage , but for the most part shuts off the majority of the air in my piping for my dust collector.

We purchased these because we have two laser cutters and only one exhaust fan. They were necessary in order to restrict fumes from going to the laser cutter that wasn't being used. We toggle between the two laser cutters and will open and shut the gate when needed. We also labeled them so that we didn't get them mixed up. I find the bright orange color a helpful visual reminder to open or close them because previous to owning the second laser cutter, we didn't have to deal with any blast gates. They work really well and open and close smoothly. My husband was able to install them with ease so there was no down time. Someone posted on a Glowforge forum and I'm so glad they did. They're perfect.

These gates worked so well for me on my first dust collection setup that I knew that these were the ones I needed when I expanded my collection setup. Will buy more of these same ones when I need more collection ports to be added.

Sadly not quite true 100mm outer diameter so very loose on ducting. Added a rubber strip glued in place all the way around the blast gate inlet and outlet which sorted the problem
