Works good but the rubber in the middle kept sliding down causing my pressure to be uneven when rolling out tape- causing me to re roll a lot of it. And because the axle is solid and not split it doesnt handle the flex of OSB/Plywood well. just have to roll one side of the seam tape at a time to get desire results (if youre doing a couple thousand feet of tape that does get tiring and time consuming)

For the money, this is an outstanding tool. The handle on top mounted above the rollers allows the user to apply quite a lot of pressure to the rollers, and thus the vinyl material below. This fixed handle is a heavy cast aluminum (or equiv) and is sturdy. I estimate that 40-50% of one's weight can be applied to the rollers this way. The extending part of the handle in my experience collapses to an overall length of about 16", and then can be extended to a maximum of 26" or so. Going to the advertised 27" exceeds a limit that I would trust since the tubing itself is thin. A quick twist of the wrist clockwise as you face the rollers from the "front", locks the handle. A corresponding quick twist in the opposite direction releases the handle such that it's length can be adjusted within a range of 16"-26". There is a small plastic roller inside the rotating component of this handle that is employed by the tool to accomplish locking. This, in my opinion, would be the factor limiting the lifetime of the extending mechanism. At worst, this should not be an issue in most cases that I can imagine. The three rollers seem to be made of a hard but slightly pliant plastic. They seem to be quite adequate.

Bought this roller to smooth out the plank vinyl I laid down in my photo studio. I did about 220 sq/ft or so. The roller is well made and worked well. I was able to put a lot (also known as my entire fat self) of weight against it and there was no give or cracking. The roller stayed straight and the I never had a problem with the handle collapsing. The only con would be that the handle could be longer (obviously, I knew this when ordering) as it was just a bit short for the size job I did. If I had been doing the whole job in one day, I would have rented the proper tool from HD but, since I was doing this over the spread of a week or so, it would have been too expensive to rent the big roller for that time frame. After having the flooring down for a couple of months, everything has remained flat so I guess the roller did it's job. Also, just to note, much cheaper than the equivalent roller at HD.

Terrific roller for laminate countertops, glue down linoleum and glue down carpet tiles. The rollers are just soft enough and just rigid enough. The front handle is comfortable, as is the rear handle. I was instantly surprised at the initial quality and feel of this tool. It handled 5 offices with 2’ square carpet tiles like a champ with easy control and smooth operation. I wish I had this years ago.I have zero complaints with this tool. One observation would be to use care when applying pressure and weight to the rollers outside edge. It’s common sense really, but if you put too much weight on it’s outer edge, you may bend the axle.I would buy this again in a heartbeat if I needed another one

Easy to use, worth the price. Used it on glue down plank flooring. Use your body weight to apply enough pressure for good contact.

We ripped up the marine carpet on the pontoon boat to replace it with “sea-grass†type woven nylon flooring. We applied the liquid adhesive with a toothed-trowel…unrolled the new fabric-flooring onto the adhesive…and used this Roller to quickly flatten-out the bulges and wrinkles. …but is a light duty tool…and we quickly switched to using an ordinary heavy wood rolling pin.

Laminated a 4x5 assembly/outfeed table with it. It worked great.

We bought this to help with laying carpet tiles and it worked perfectly. This was really the only choice we could find online for this particular task, but it did the job.

So after realising I used a 4mm notched trowel instead of a 2mm I had a lot of glue in the joints, this roller helped me push it out. Way better than the small rollers recommended. (This is still small to be fair but takes some welly. I’m 6ft4 and 20st and takes me pushing down on it with two hands. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

Used to roll vinyl planks for flooring. Works fine. Works for laminating board too although I wouldn't use it for veneer.
