This works perfectly. Very happy with the design, thickness, and performance. It's well made and feels as though it'll last a lifetime. When you use the proper router bushing there are no issue with use. Only side note is I wish it had measurements or hash marks to reference the position on the piece you are about to rout out. Yes I could've made my own template but for the cost and the fact it is made out of clear acrylic why bother making one.

Excellent quality but there are five 19mm holes cut out where I need to drill 10mm holes to fit my router so I can’t make it work.

Fit perfectly on Porter Cable 89 series router. Gave good visibility of the bit while using, and was large enough to accommodate large diameter bits!

This product (POWERTEC 71218) is shown along side of POWERTEC 71022 and POWERTEC 7136 which are 6-1/2" diameter. The POWERTEC 71218 sub base has an overall diameter of 5-3/4" (not 6-1/2")The product dimensions also show ‎ as 7 x 6 x 0.25 inches - but its a circle. The thickness is right.Between the product presentation and mix of models in the product questions/answers, its easy to think the (POWERTEC 71218) has a larger overall diameter.I can not rate the performance of this product; however, if it was the right size it would be great. Finding a sub base with a large hole is a challenge and the price of this product is very reasonable (around $10.50 at the time of this review). I ended up making a square sub base and the cost of the .25" plexiglass and other supplies was more than 2.5x the cost of this product.

The keyhole Template makes a keyhole longer than normal, but if you’re careful you can adjust.

This was the only large hole router plate I could find. The bolts that came with it didn't fit the threads on my DeWalt router so I used the bolts that came with my router to attach the face plate. Because of the shape of the dimple in the plate, the bolts stood just a fraction proud of the plate and left scratches in the face of the boards I was routing an fancy edge on. My fault....I should have checked. I will have to buy different bolts with threads that fit my router and rest properly into the dimples on that plate...or somehow grind out the plate so the bolts don't stand proud. I sanded the scratches out of my boards so, in the end, no harm no foul. I wish I had paid more attention and avoided the problem though.
