I loved these, they were exactly the 5mm diameter as described. They seem to be very sturdy. I purchased them to replace deteriorating plastic shelf pegs, Alas, I neglected to measure the length of the peg, and will be unable to use them.

These are true 1/4" brackets, too big for my current project. I will keep them anyway at the price you can't beat them. I will be ordering 5mm ones.

These stronger metal shelf supports easily replaced all of the plastic supports that came with our kitchen cabinets and broke off.

These are a good quality and easy to install. However, the pins are a bit long for a 1/2 inch plywood side panels (which are common for cabinets). I've been grinding these down to under 3/8 to get them to fit.

Be sure of pin size you need for the hole. And then get these. Great price with plenty for many shelf projects. As nice as you can get.

I first found these shelf holders for my IKEA PAX cabinets about six months ago ... I then (this month) tried a different cheaper brand ... same size, 5mm ...the cheaper ones were slightly too big ... they fit, but had to be 'persuaded' to go all the way in ... the cheaper brand 'peg' that goes into the cabinet side hole was also about 1/8 th of an inch shorter. I then ordered these again and they again fit properly. I am extremely happy with the Powertech brand. 8-)

I bought these to replace some broken plastic pegs that came with my cabinets. These are very sturdy and fit perfectly. Make sure you measure the holes in your cabinets and buy the closest size to match (5mm or 6mm). Mine measure just under 5mm, and these pegs went in easily with a snug fit. I'm very happy with this product. I have enough here for all of my cabinets, and I'm confident that a broken plastic clip isn't going to bring down a shelf full of glass bowls. Check out my pictures for a comparison to the old plastic clips. These metal ones have a larger surface to hold the shelf, plus a hole in case you want to make it even more secure with a small wood screw.

After our apartment's cupboard shelves collapsed, and I found multiple embedded cheap plastic pegs still half in the holes, we decided not to bother with maintenance who would probably use the same crap, but get our own, and get some nice sturdy metal ones. When I told my wife that I found some for $5, she asked, how many, four? I said, FIFTY. Heck of a deal.
