Bought this as a tub toy for my children during bath time. Easily last 10-15 min. Zero issues so far and fun to play with.

This little boat is fun for the pool, but I found the connection to be unreliable. The รขโฌหwaterproofรขโฌโข transmitter is somewhat less than completely waterproof. It does float on the surface and can handle being wet, but when it is submerged multiple times at a depth of one to two feet it does begin to leak a bit and become non-responsive. I found that the connection kept dropping, and in the sunlight it was quite hard to tell whether or not the remote was on. The dim red light to indicate power is all but invisible in the bright sun. When we came home from the pool I opened it up and sure enough there was water in with the batteries. Not much, but enough to cause problems clearly. Once it was all dried out and charged it worked again with no problem. So Iรขโฌโขd say this is good for little kids that understand there is a limit to being n waterproof, but as long as the item works itรขโฌโขs a fun little pool toy. I gave it four stars because my kids had a blast with it while it worked, but it would be nice if they put an ip rating on it, like ipx4, so you knew it was splash proof but wasnรขโฌโขt going to handle submersion, like an ipx7.

This little boat works GREAT for fishing. I used a rubber frilly skirt and rubber bands to attach a hook and line to the boat. I then drove it along the reed line at the shore and got a hit within a minute. I caught 2 fish before the battery died. The boat is tough and took no damage despite the un intended use. If the battery was replicable this would be the best RC boat ever. It takes about 45 minutes to charge up with a power bank. I will buy a couple more so i can use them nonstop. I did end up having to use one of the spare propellers by the end of day and 5 fish later! Great little RC boat!

Just by driving this around in a bathtub, its propellors fell off without me doing anything! May be good for kids, but I wouldn't reccomend using this in something like a pool.

I found this toy disappointing in a number of ways. The Amazon page describes it as having a rechargeable battery, yet fails to mention that the controller requires two AAA batteries, which are not included. To learn this, you must unscrew two tiny screws holding the battery cover on. The little screwdriver provided doesnรขโฌโขt give you enough torque to free them. I had to locate a specialty screwdriver to open the compartment and discover there were no batteries. At $25 or so for this tiny toy, one would think they could have included the needed batteries. And the toy is tiny รขโฌโ about 2 3/4รขโฌย long. I canรขโฌโขt really see it being used in a lake, as the description mentions. Both the charging plug to the boat and the USB A plug for the computer charging port are slightly out of spec, so very difficult to insert.I canรขโฌโขt tell you how well the boat works at this point because รขโฌโ no batteries. How disappointing.

This is a novel little toy. It's not very fast, but is fairly maneuverable. Any small hair or stringy debris will get tangled in the props and stop it from functioning, but that's the nature of something this small. The charging instructions have dire warnings about leaving it on the charger unattended. That does concern me since this is mostly a toy for very young children who almost certainly won't read that or care. There should be more consideration for an internal charge cutoff.
