This cover is well made, and fits my Mazda CX-5 precisely. I waited until we had a couple of trips in back of us to assess how this cover performed: it did quite well. Installation is easy, it took no more than 10 minutes the first time. It keeps prying eyes from looking into the cargo area, and, as importantly, shields the reflections of things in the cargo area from the driver. The cover fits well, and can be easily adjusted if you're dropping the back seats for cargo, while fastening the two straps when the seats are raised is just as easy. A welcome accessory that doesn't break the bank!A surprise update! It turns out that some CX-5 rear seats can recline a bit by lifting the latch mechanism on the seat and pushing back. The forward flap on the cargo cover will tilt a bit to accommodate the recline position. Not sure how often I'll use it, but nice to have.

This was easy to install in our Mazda CX5. Feels tight and sturdy but it's new so can't speak for it's longevity. We haven't had any issues opening and closing the hatch. Even had to remove it once to cary a large load. No problem. Took it out and put it back in.

I was able to install this item fairly easily, but once I tried to remove the privacy cover from the back hatch, I was unable to remove the privacy cover from the latch clips on the door. I spent an hour trying to do it without breaking something. Ultimately, I had to disassemble the privacy cover latch connectors to get it removed without breaking the CX-5 door latches. I’m uncertain as to why this is the case. I could not push them up, I could not pull them out. I could not get the little metal bars to come out of the door latch. This seems like a design flaw! Ultimately, I had to return the item.

Works perfectly, I was under the impression that it was a mesh fabric. It is not. It is a solid pleather. It is what it is... It fits and works and is affordable. That's what's important. :)

Easy install, perfect fit, blocks viewing of items inside hatch as well as protecting carpeting from uv rays protecting carpet fading. Seems well made, No odor from material item is made of. Looks clean and profession, great product for the money.

Thought the cx 5 would come from the dealer with the cover. It didn't. Ordered this one but it was priced low so my expectation was low. It seems great so far. Fit and quality are better than I hoped.

The length of material is too short and it's getting very tight when the door is open so that the fittings are booked out and broken
