I had been using a heavier weight presentation paper to produce prints of photographs for books on the genealogy of my families. I wanted something of good quality but lighter weight so I tried this 35 lb paper. It is just what I wanted. The pages are more flexible, allow me to produce a book with less thickness and the printed photographs are of very good quality. I'm very satisfied with the PPD product and will continue to use it.

End product looked very professional. Another company wanted double the price to print church program, so I did the programs at home with product. Very pleased.

Purchased this double-sided inkjet paper for 13.95/50 sheets.SIZE: Sheets are not 8.5 x 11 inches. Mine was an eighth of an inch off, sometimes more.SHIPMENT: In 2021, Amazon still doesn't care about how it ships paper. This product ships in a resealable plastic bag, not even a box like the major manufacturers. Worse, it's thrown in a shipping box so it bounces around during transit. I received my paper dinged up and wrinkled.PAPER: It was noticeably more chalky than other inkjet papers I have, but that may not matter to you depending on your application.PERFORMANCE: The prints came out well on both sides. Noticed more detail and closer color reproduction than cheaper papers. I printed back to back immediately, with little time to dry, and the paper didn't buckle from the ink saturation. The paper did, however, seem to wrinkle more easily than others when say, turning them while they're bound or stapled. Little dents were more frequent with this paper. When I fanned the paper, it had a weird smell to it too.BLEED: Despite the description saying one side wouldn't show on the other, that wasn't the case for me. While viewing one side, the shadow of the image on the backside showed easily through, whether viewed laid flat or through the light. Photos, text, and lines all showed through.THICKNESS: It is listed as 35lb, 130gsm on the packaging. I compared it with Hammermill's 32lb, 120gsm premium laser copy paper, and it was thinner and less opaque. This paper felt more like 28lb (or 100ish gsm) thickness.VALUE: As expected, this paper is thinner and less opaque compared to a similar product I tried, Epson's Premium Presentation Double-Sided MATTE, which is 42lb 179gsm (like thin cardstock). PPD paper was almost twice as expensive (I got Epson at $8). Value depends on your use, so if what I'm printing isn't all that important, I'd probably go with cheaper options. If printing long lasting photos or art, this paper's ok -- about a 3 out of 5.Overall, 2 stars. I am definitely going to test other products in the same category.
