It feels pretty lightweight. It didn't specify that it wasn't, but I assumed it would have a little more heft - maybe it's the size that highlights the thinness and it wouldn't be as noticeable in smaller sheets. I feel like it bends much more easily than their smaller construction paper.

I ordered this in May and didn't open the box until this morning because I have been extremely ill. So it's my fault that I didn't notice the color and thickness until now so I can't return it. I'm still recovering and finally managed to get my weight up to 95 lbs and hope to gain a lot more if possible.Anyway, as you can see from my photos, my grey cat is darker than this not-black paper. The other picture is the cabinet for which I purchased this not-black paper as I planned to use it as a backdrop for the metal so that no dust can filter through to my stuff. That cabinet is black and as such it also very much shows the not-blackness of the black paper I ordered.The thickness is not of any other construction paper I have ever used in my long life. It's the not even as thick as the lens cleaner papers I use. In fact, the lens cleaner papers are thicker and more durable.
