I bought this for a drawing class, where the teacher said to get a pad of this size newsprint, which actually cost a bit more. This is thick enough that I know it will stand up to ink once we move on to that.The only other difference is that the newsprint was an actual pad, but I just us a large clip to hold it together.

At our local indoor gun range they moved the target bulldog clips out further so you couldn’t use 18x12 splatter targetsThis is a great option to staple targets to it and have the black paper hang from the range clips …..sturdy enough to use same sheet three times replacing splatter targets each time

Minus one star for price. I have 130 students. The cost of 150 pieces of construction paper shouldn't make me rethink a project for my kids to work on, but it does :(

simple black construction paper. needed them to make stainglass windows with my students in art and they did the job well and were sturdy.

I am an art teacher. I ordered this for a specific project which needed a large black background. But this paper is definitely NOT BLACK it is a very dark grey and is also thinner than all the other paper I have from this brand. So now I have 300 sheets of giant paper that I can't use for anything at all. An enormous waste of money and now we can't finish our project. I included a pic. The paper on this left is this item and on the right is the black construction paper we typically use. I'm hesitant to believe this is even Prang SunWorks paper, I've never seen their paper we such inferior quality.

The paper was very easy to work with as I used it to make some tissue paper Christmas stain glass windows. It was a bit thinner than I expected. We used to call that type of paper poster paper which is great for paper sculpture activities.
