Not sure why people found problems with the plastic zip line you wind it with - we play with this thing every week at ground school, and no one has broken it yet. But you do get a better spin (faster and longer lasting) using the string. Ridiculously fun to play with!

I found this for my grandchild’s 9th birthday...just as much fun as I remember from my own youth...and my own kids...not quite the precision engineering as the one I had, but happy with this one.

Everything was in order. EXCEPT it seems like the gyro is off balance a bit. No terribly. But im not familiar enough with these products to know whether or not its an acceptable amount for the price. Im happy with it still.
