- 36 Gauge Star - Orange (Sunshine, large star). For building up of the core, quick felting, and joining pieces together.
- 38 Gauge Star - Blue (Star, small star). For finer core details and sculpting.
- 40 Gauge Spiral/Twist - Green (twisted beanstalk, small spiral/twist). For finishing details, fine fibers such as Merino.
- TOP NEEDLE - precision made from high carbon steel. Well defined barbs and smooth, high-carbon steel for quality felting.

I apologize for not knowing anything about felting, so I can't speak to that. I bought this set to try to repair a couch that had pretty extensive cat scratching damage on it. These worked wonderfully and held up really well. I think I only broke 1 on the whole couch.

One of the green needles broke within minutes of use, which was a bummer, but the others seem to be holding up well. Perhaps it was human error, though I don't know what I was doing differently.I appreciate the multi size pack - it allowed me to try the different sizes and really see the difference in how each perform.

The needles arrived very quickly and were beautifully packaged in cardboard with a paper shipping envelope, which I appreciate. Inside the protective cardboard sleeve was a tiny paper envelope with the color coded needles which are much high quality than I've been able to obtain locally. Will continue to shop from this company, as I'm very happy overall! Such a treat to receive things that are well thought out to not just protect the product (and people), but which are green, and very well made. Thanks!

I use these most in my felting projects. They work great, last a long time. Well worth the price. You can buy cheaper ones but they will break.

My boyfriend’s cat likes to occasionally use my bed frame as a yoga stand and has slowly messed up the fabric. I wasn’t sure this would actually help but it looks almost brand new! If you didn’t know any better you would say it was. I didn’t have to trim the strings or anything. simply poked it back in and the needle dragged it with it. 10/10. I wish I knew about this trick sooner.

These felting needles came in a little cardboard envelop. And the ends are color coded so you know what needle is what size. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought needles from many different companies to try what works for which wool and when. I use Clover needles for most of my detail works but this set have become one of my favorites for shaping cat ears and tail. Will repurchase if these break.
