This worked out great as I am new to stained glass. Prefoiled allowed me to practice soldering.

These stained glass pieces are quite unique and I'm not too sure what one is supposed to exactly do with them. Play with them? They are super pretty and really very fun, but to what end? You can only arrange and rearrange them so many times. Not for small kids as the edges are a bit sharp. Great for a coffee table conversation piece. So if you really what a interesting item, this is it!

I love the colors provided in this kit. They are as pictured. I wish there were some more options, and I would even prefer doubling the kit to have more options on design. As it is, the kit is limited in design options. I will need to add additional pieces to this kit to make something I really love.

I enjoy making stained glass pieces as a hobby, so I was curious when I came across this pre-cut kit. The glass is already cut, ground, and foiled. All you have to do is decide how you want to arrange the pieces, then flux and solder! It even comes with a chain you can solder to your finished project to hang in a window. If you are curious about making stained glass, this would be a fun way to learn soldering techniques without having to jump in and buy a lot of equipment other than solder, flux, and an iron. I'm looking forward to soldering this suncatcher together (as soon as I make space on my workbench, that is).

I am not exactly sure what the intent of the manufacturer was. I love tangrams, so thought I would get this pretty stained glass version. It doesn't come with puzzle cards, but I know I have some of those somewhere in an inexpensive plastic set...Unfortunately, the copper that covers the corners of the pieces has sharp edges, especially the points of the triangles. It seems, even for adults, it is probably easy to cut yourself on these. Curiously, inside the box there was a chain-- the type that comes with hanging stained glass suncatchers. There is no way to hang these, though.To use these, I will need to locate the puzzle cards, and a box to store them in because they came in a plain cardboard box, and will have to be very careful to not cut myself accidentally. Based upon all that, I don't think the $20 price tag is a good value.
