I needed something to store my over-sized sketchbooks, posters etc. in. I was very happy to find this case, it was the exact size of my largest sketchbook, and the backing of that sketchbook makes a good firm side. So I would recommend reinforcing it with something like that, cardboard, or whatever, to keep things firmer and flatter, if you're using it for loose art or posters. The best thing is that it zips all the way around on 3 sides so you can lay it out open, making it very easy to see what's inside. The other cases I see are all top-loading, and only zip along the top. Didn't want that. It also expands. It is a soft case, basically a zipped up covering, but good quality and lightweight. My stuff feels protected. And it tucks away nicely. The only bad thing for me is that, being in Canada, it cost me twice as much, almost $90. But it was what I needed, and I didn't have a choice about the price. Ya, very glad I bought this case.PS I didn't want to give it a Sturdy rating because I thought that would be deceiving. Obviously it's not as sturdy as a hard shell case but that's no reason to give it less stars.

This product met and ended up exceeding expectations.Main use is to transport two large felt boards (that measured about 24 in by 32 in and ~2 inches wide ) that my wife uses as teaching aides with small children. Together they take are 4 inches or so wide when folded and fit fine (with room left over). The additional pocket storage was great for the felt people and scenery that were needed for the day. The interior has an X strap for keeping what is transported in place. The material of the case seems solid and decently made. There is a stiffener to provide extra support for the bottom. Zippers all seem solid. Pockets are of various sizes and well suited.Recommended for anyone using it to transport artwork (and/or the corresponding supplies), presentations/projects, or similar.

I'll be using this to carry one or two framed artworks. Just received it so I haven't tried it out yet, but it looks like it will do the job nicely. While the 36" x 24" was important, so was the thickness for carrying a couple of framed pieces. A wide, fold-down "floor" is included at the bottom to protect and support the artwork. The sides are a soft cordura-type material with a sewn-in wire frame around the perimeter to retain shape. The handles and straps appear sufficiently sturdy. There are four small "feet" on the bottom exterior surface for when setting the carrier down like luggage. My experience with such feet on other luggage is that they eventually knocked off, but we'll see how these do. No complaints, though, at this time and I'm happy with the product.

Lightweight with plenty of room to store daughter’s artwork over the years. Handles are useful. Only wish fabric was sturdier to avoid banging art. Fixed that by cutting the cardboard box it was shipped in down to size and lining case interior with it.

I can't say how sturdy or durable this would be for carrying art around all the time, but that's not why I bought it. I have some large drawings done by my father and some other papers that are oversized that I needed storage for. This fits the bill perfectly. Large enough to hold 24x36 and a lot of papers and can be stored behind a door or something like that when I don't need to access anything inside.

The expandable nature of this bag allows much more room for my portfolio than bags I've previously owned. The shoulder strap is a necessity and makes carting such a large item easy. At a time when I need additional portfolio space, I'll be buying this same model again. Good stuff.

I knew this was padded case overall, but expected the sides to be more rigid. It is wired but the foam is not rigid. It works well still and plenty of storage in the pouches, just not as I hand expected. Haven’t traveled with it yet, but overall still good so far.

I have an old muscle car and like to go to car shows. This year, I had a wonderful information sign made up for my car and I display it on an easel. I wanted a way to haul it around and, of course, turned to Amazon. Found this and thought I'd try it. I LOVE this for my sign. I was even able to keep the sturdy container the sign was shipped in - it fits right into the case, so the sign is doubly protected. I really admire the quality of the build AND the fact that there's a frame so it doesn't just collapse all the time. This is definitely worth checking out for multiple applications.

I use it for my diamond art supplies. It even had room for the folding bed table. Perfect to travel with keeping everything in one place all together. Love it worth the money. Well made.
