I try to buy reputable parts for critical components like VW/Audi timing belt and associated parts. A failed timing belt will destroy a VW/Audi engine and I don't want to take that risk. I am also price concious, I shopped around and this was right at the top of the list value wise, plus 2 day prime got it to me quick. This is my second Gates belt for Audi 1.8t, quiet operation and I dont have any concerns about durability with Gates.I have confidence that the gates belt will perform as well as any other quality belt such as continental, the price was great and I would buy again.Don't mess around with cheap or knock off timing parts on your interference engines.

I didn't have an issue with the belt itself with the exception I ordered the wrong one. Am is the process of returning this. Fault was all mine.
